Is Soto a Spider-Man fan too? In the latest ad, the superhero has become his fan instead!

Countless elements can remind people of New York, but the ultimate classic trio—Spider-Man, Juan Soto, and the Mets mascot "Mr. Met" in one frame—is hard to top.

In the latest trailer for "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," out on July 31 U.S. time, Spider-Man, wearing his full costume, sits in the audience at Citi Field. He appears to be lost in thought, contemplating some deep philosophical question about his "true self" while staring blankly into space. Then the camera pans to reveal that Mr. Met is right beside him.

Meanwhile, Soto, who was taking batting practice on the field, noticed these two "spectators" in the stands: Spider-Man and the team's mascot.

"No way!" Soto shouted. "Hey, little spider! You're the best, dude!"

Even though the superhero's excited expression was hidden behind his mask, what Spider-Man later said to Mr. Met—"This has never happened before"—was enough to say it all.
