The highly anticipated Sunday showdown between the Dodgers and Yankees has been postponed due to rain, and a split-admission doubleheader will be held on Monday instead.

A much-anticipated clash between two powerhouse teams has been forced to be postponed. Due to forecasts of ongoing bad weather at Yankee Stadium, the Sunday game between the Dodgers and Yankees was announced as postponed.

The two teams will play a split-admission doubleheader on Monday as a makeup, with the first game scheduled to start at 0:35 AM Beijing time.

Cam Schlittler of the Yankees will face Yoshinobu Yamamoto of the Dodgers in the first game. Neither team has announced the starting pitchers for the second game. Ryan Weathers of the Yankees and Emmet Sheehan of the Dodgers were originally scheduled to start on Sunday night US time.

Fans who have already purchased tickets for Sunday's game can either use their original tickets to attend Monday's makeup game, or, under the Yankees' rain check policy, exchange them for tickets to another regular-season game at Yankee Stadium this season. Specific exchange rules and available games can be found on the Yankees' official website.

Sunday's tickets are valid only for the first game on Monday and cannot be used for the second game of the doubleheader.
