Redick was interviewed after practice on the 22nd, revealing that this was the team's best training session in recent months, and there were many actual drills. Redick also said that the team played the first game with a lack of organization, and admitted that the team should be allowed to train intensively during the pre-playoffs break.
Redick explained that it's not all the point guard's responsibility to play organized, he meant being able to "do what is normally done," such as covering well and finding the right shots, and Redick said that the Lakers are a great team when the team can do these things in an organized way.
