The 2025 French Open tennis tournament will be ignited on the 25th, Serbian star Djokovic is still hard to find one win on clay this season, and the American legend Chris Evert bluntly said that he does not think Djokovic has a chance to win the unprecedented 25th Grand Slam Gold Cup at Roland Garros.
Serbian star Novak Djokovic
The 37-year-old has struggled on clay this year, with the Monte Carlo Masters and Madrid Masters both in the first round, and was previously absent from Rome, recently decided to play at the ATP 250 Geneva Open.
Chris Evert, who was invited to be a commentator for TNT this year, said of Djokovic's chances of winning the French Open this year, "I would never underestimate him, but I would be surprised if he won the title, you have to admit that he is very good, he has won more titles than anybody, I wouldn't say he can't win the title, but if he does I will be surprised, I should say it will be pleasantly surprised, but based on his recent results and the fact that he is a human being after all, I don't think it will be a good chance." โ
Chris Evert mentioned that Djokovic is more dominant on grass and has won more Wimbledon titles (seven), so he doesn't think Djokovic can win the Grand Slam again, but the French Open is quite difficult.
At present, the most optimistic international betting is Spain's Alcaraz odds of 2.2, Italy's Sinner odds of 3.5, and Djokovic and Germany's Zverev odds of 10, tied for third.
