The mixed doubles final of the 2025 Malaysia Badminton Super 500 will be dominated by the top two seeds of China, Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin, and Phoenix Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping.

In the second mixed doubles semifinal of the tournament on the 24th local time, the world No. 1 Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin finally defeated teammates and No. 7 seeds Cheng Xing and Zhang Chi 15-21, 22-20, 21-19.

This is the second time this year that the duo have advanced to the final, having previously won the Indian Super 750 title. Zhen Xin and Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping met in the mixed doubles final, with the Phoenix beating Chinese Taipei's Ye Hongwei and Zhan Youzhen 21-10, 21-7 in the quarterfinals.
