This year's BWF World Tour has held 12 tournaments so far, and South Korea has won a total of three women's doubles titles, all of which were won by the "new Kim Kong pair" Kim Hye-jung and Kong Hee-yong.

World No. 8 Kim Hye-jung and Kong Hee-yong helped South Korea win their third women's doubles title on this year's World Tour with a 21-16, 21-14 victory over Japan's world No. 6 Suzu Iwanaga and Takaei Nakanishi in the women's doubles final of the 2025 Singapore Badminton Super 750 tournament on the 1st. The first two were also won by Kim Hye-jung and Kong Hee-yong, respectively in the Indian Super 500 and Orleans Super 300.
This is the second time that Kim Hye-jung and Kong Hee-yong have participated in this event together since 2019, and they have reached the final twice and successfully won the championship for the first time. In addition, Kim Hye-jung and Kong Hee-yong also helped South Korea end a 34-year women's doubles title drought at the Singapore Open, where they last won the tournament in 1991.
