On June 3, the ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) updated the latest world rankings for the 23rd week of 2025. In this edition, the ranking points of the WTT Argentina Mendoza Regular Challenger held in 2024 have expired, and the rankings of the top players in the men's and women's singles at the tournament have dropped.

Zhang Benmei is ranked No. 6 in the women's singles world

First, in the ranking of the top 50 in men's singles, Duda (Germany), the men's singles champion of the 2024 WTT Argentina Mendoza Regular Challenger, dropped from 13th to 16th. Puzar (Croatia), who reached the men's singles semi-finals, also dropped from 36th to 42nd.

In the ranking of the top 50 in the women's singles world, Huang Yihua (Chinese Taipei), the runner-up of the women's singles at the 2024 WTT Mendoza Regular Challenge in Argentina, dropped from 28th to 43rd. As a result, Japanese table tennis players Miyu Nagasaki and Sakura Yokoi each rose by 1 level to 28th and 29th respectively.

The first brother and first sister of Japanese table tennis have not changed. Tomokazu Haramoto is ranked No. 4 in the world in Men's Singles, while his sister Miwa Haramoto is ranked No. 6 in the Women's Singles world, holding the top spot as a Japanese player.
