Helsingborg won the mixed doubles title, Xu Xianjia/Chen Xinxin won the first international championship since the co-production

Chinese Taipei pair Xu Xianjia/Chen Xianxin defeated the Polish pair 3:2 in the U19 mixed doubles final of the 2025 Helsingborg (Sweden) Youth Table Tennis Challenge in the early morning of the 9th, winning the first international championship since the two co-production.

The 16-year-old Hsu Xianjia and his friend Guo Guanhong teamed up to defeat Kawakami Meteor/Minato Watanabe in the U15 men's doubles final of the 2023 World Junior Championships to win the gold medal for Chinese Taipei. Chen and Wu Yingxuan won the U15-year-old women's doubles gold medal at last year's World Junior Championships in Helsingborg by beating the Korean pair in straight games.

Two world junior doubles gold medalists, Xu Xianjia and Chen Xinxin, made their debut at the Junior Challenge in Bangkok in April this year, but missed out on a 2-0 lead in the U19 mixed doubles round of 16 and were reversed 2-3 by South Korea's Choi Zhiyu/Choi Seo-yeon.

This time in Helsingborg, Xu Xianjia/Chen Xinxin tacitly warmed up, starting from the top 32, defeated two groups of host combinations in a row, and then solved Poland's Vermera/Bogdanovich 3:1 in the top 8, and defeated the French pair Vito/Bred in straight games in the top 4.

In the final, facing the Polish pair Civoronek/Rajkovska, Xu Chenpei started the game with great momentum, winning 13:11 and 11:4 in two consecutive cities, and also took a 9:6 lead in the third game, seeing that the championship was close at hand. Unexpectedly, Xu Chenpei led 10:9, missed 3 end points in a row, and his momentum took a sharp turn, losing 2 games in a row at 13:15 and 10:12. In the deciding game, Xu Chenpei readjusted his mentality, chased 4 points in a row after falling behind 1:2, and finally won 11:6.
