The ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) announced the latest world rankings for the 25th week of 2025 on the 17th local time, and this issue reflects the results of the 2025 WTT Regular Challenge Skopje. In women's singles, there was no adjustment in the top 10. Miwa Haramoto, who just celebrated his 17th birthday on the 16th, retains the No. 6 position in the world as Japan's No. 1. In 7th place is Mimato Ito (Starts), 8th is Satsuki Oto (Miki House), and 9th is Hina Hayada (Nippon Life).

Among the other Japanese players, Mei Zhang, who reached the round of 16 at the WTT 2025 Regular Challenge in Skopje, and her classmate Yuna Koshio (JOC Elite Academy/Seicha) significantly improved their rankings to enter the top 100.
The 2025 WTT Star Challenge Ljubljana will be held this week, and depending on the results, there may be a big change in the rankings next week.
