He was born on March 25, 1986, making him 39 years old. Drafted 18th overall in the first round of 2007, Belinelli spent 13 seasons in the NBA, averaging 22.7 minutes, 9.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game in the regular season, with a 37.6% success rate from beyond the arc, sinking 1.4 threes per game; in the playoffs, he averaged 21.1 minutes, 8.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists, hitting 1.2 threes per game at a 37.5% clip.
During the 2013-14 season, Belinelli won his first NBA championship with the Spurs and also claimed the NBA All-Star Three-Point Contest title that same year, proving himself an elite marksman with a unique shooting style.
Last season, Belinelli played for Virtus Bologna, helping the team secure the Italian league championship—the 17th in club history and his third personal Italian league title.
