Turkey 96-85 Montenegro
Turkey’s last warm-up match before EuroBasket saw them beat Montenegro 96-85. In this game, Şengün stood out by delivering 26 points and 11 rebounds, playing a pivotal role in his team’s win.
Şengün played 27 minutes and 26 seconds, showing remarkable offensive efficiency: he made 10 of 15 two-point attempts and converted 6 of 9 free throws, including several powerful dunks that easily broke through Montenegro’s defense. Late in the game, with the score at 76-71 and 4 minutes 43 seconds remaining, Germany surged ahead with a 12-0 run, sealing the win comfortably.
On Spain’s side, de la Rea scored 14 points and Eusta added 13. It’s worth noting that as the defending EuroBasket champions, Spain performed poorly in these warm-ups, ending with a 1-5 record heading into the main tournament.
