The Trail Blazers' coach and players stand firmly behind Hansen! Billups expressed how pleasantly surprised he was, while teammates praised his passing as proof of his ability.

On October 14th Beijing time, the Trail Blazers conducted a training session to get ready for their next preseason matchup against the Warriors. After the session, head coach Billups and players Klingen and Sharp gave interviews to the media. They all talked about Yang Hansen.

Yang Hansen scored 16 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, and made 3 blocks in the game against the Kings. When asked how joyful he was to see Hansen get into form in the previous game, Billups said, "It was a great surprise. Honestly, it was quite unexpected because he struggled a bit in the first half, then suddenly exploded like a rocket. It’s exciting to see him perform like that, and I’m happy to be part of it.”

Yang Hansen has had many interactions with Klingen during training camp. In the preseason opener against the Warriors, Hansen did not perform well. What did Klingen say to him after that game?

“I just told him to stay patient. Clearly, NBA games are different from what he’s experienced before, and his opportunity will come. Also, his recent game against the Kings has already shown his capabilities,” Klingen replied.

In the last game against the Kings, Yang Hansen and Sharp executed a beautiful give-and-go play. Hansen made a brilliant bounce pass, and Sharp caught it for a powerful dunk. Sharp believes moments like this will happen more often. “He’s an excellent passer, and I’m pretty good at finishing near the basket,” Sharp said. “As long as we play more together and build chemistry, these plays will become smoother. Right now, we just need more games and training, and things will gradually improve.”
