In the first quarter, Zhao Rui started with a layup to open the scoring. Brown hit two consecutive three-pointers and a fast-break layup, leading Guangsha to an 8-0 run to take the lead. Spellman, Raymond, and Zhu Junlong exchanged three-pointers, tying the game at 11. Sun Minghui scored back-to-back layups, Zhao Jiaren nailed a three-pointer, and Guangsha stretched the lead again. Jarman made two free throws to narrow the gap, but Zhao Yanhao responded immediately with a three-pointer. Zhao Rui scored on a driving layup, and Guangsha ended the quarter leading 25-21.

In the second quarter, Madiang and Zhai Xiaochuan scored four straight points to tie the game for Beijing. Sun Minghui stole the ball and scored on a layup, Spellman hit a three-pointer from the left corner, and the score went back and forth. After Spellman made another open three-pointer, Beijing took a 34-31 lead, forcing Guangsha to call a timeout. After the break, Jarman continued scoring with a layup, Zhang Cairen hit a three-pointer from the right side, and Beijing’s lead grew to 6 points at 41-35. Zhu Junlong and Sun Minghui hit consecutive three-pointers, including a buzzer-beater, as Guangsha went on an 11-2 run to lead 46-43 at halftime. Guangsha shot 8 of 17 from three-point range in the first half.

In the third quarter, Zhu Junlong opened with a three-pointer, and Raymond quickly answered with one of his own. After Zhou Qi made one of two free throws, Carlton and Brown scored consecutively, pushing Guangsha's lead to 57-49. Zhao Rui hit a three-pointer from the left corner and then scored on a drive, cutting Beijing’s deficit to 5 points. After making one of two free throws, Zhao Rui assisted Spellman’s three-pointer, bringing Beijing within one point at 58-59. Lin Bingsheng and Tucker scored on two fast-break layups, extending Guangsha’s lead back to 5. Zhou Qi’s putback basket helped Guangsha finish the quarter leading 66-61. Following Zhou Qi’s basket, he was suspected of delaying Guangsha’s inbound pass, causing Wang Bo to angrily confront the referees and receive a technical foul.

In the fourth quarter, Zhao Rui first made a technical free throw, Hu Jinqiu scored on a catch-and-shoot, and Zhang Cairen hit a three-pointer from the top right arc, prompting Guangsha to call a timeout. After the break, Sun Minghui hit a mid-range jumper, Zhou Qi and Zhao Rui combined for 4 points, tying the game at 72. After the timeout, Beijing resorted to fouling strategy, while Brown and Sun Minghui made their free throws. Ultimately, Guangsha defeated Beijing 91-85.
