On January 15th Beijing time, immediately after ending the Lakers' three-game losing streak, LeBron James posted a message on social media aimed at both his supporters and detractors. In his first back-to-back game of the season, he almost achieved a triple-double, helping the Lakers defeat the Atlanta Hawks. James stated: "Whether you love me or hate me, you will remember me (crown emoji)."

In an Instagram post, James shared this powerful statement for those who have supported him over the years as well as those who have spoken harshly against him. He also included several photos from the game where the Lakers triumphed 141-116 over the Hawks. Multiple players, including Tatum, liked James’ post.

In this game, James scored 31 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists. Despite doubts about his condition playing the second game of a back-to-back, he was cleared to play and delivered one of his best performances of the season.

The Lakers are currently facing a packed schedule: 5 games in 7 days. They went 1-1 in the first two games this week and have 3 more games in the next 5 days—hosting the Charlotte Hornets, followed by back-to-back games against the Portland Trail Blazers and Toronto Raptors.
At yesterday’s postgame press conference, a reporter asked JJ Redick about LeBron’s performance in his first back-to-back of the season. The four-time NBA champion’s dedication to the game continues to impress Redick, who also criticized those who only spew negative comments about LeBron.
“This guy puts so much effort and emotion into the game, yet some people speak about him so harshly—it’s really painful to see,” Redick said. “It’s ridiculous. If you spent a day with him and saw how seriously he takes the game, you’d realize his level of commitment is truly elite.”
When pressed by reporters about why he felt “pain,” the Lakers coach explained it’s because some people, driven by jealousy, resort to harsh words aimed at LeBron to attract attention.
When “The King” LeBron heard the coach’s remarks, he couldn’t help but smile. He’s just happy to keep playing and hopes fans will continue to enjoy his nightly performances on the court.
