On January 20th Beijing time, the NBA announced the 2026 All-Star Game starters. The West starters include Alexander, Jokic, Doncic, Wembanyama, and Curry; the East starters are Giannis, Cunningham, Brunson, Maxey, and Jaylen Brown. Doncic earned the highest votes, heading five international stars selected. Curry is included, but LeBron James and Durant missed the starting roster. LeBron’s streak of 21 consecutive All-Star starts comes to an end.

The All-Star starters are determined by combined votes from fans, players, and media. Fan votes account for 50%, while current players and media panels each contribute 25%. The All-Star reserves will be chosen by the head coaches of the 30 NBA teams.
Western Conference All-Star starters —
Doncic secured a starting spot for the West All-Star team, marking his sixth career All-Star selection. This season, he averages 33.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 8.6 assists per game, leading the league in scoring average.

Jokic is a Western All-Star starter for the eighth time in his career, making it eight consecutive years. This season, he averages 29.6 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 11 assists per game, ranking first in the league in both rebounds and assists per game.

Curry earned a starting position for the West All-Star team, his 12th career selection and sixth straight year. So far this season, he averages 27.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game.

Alexander is named a Western All-Star starter for the fourth time in his career and has made the team four years in a row. This season, he averages 31.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game.

Wembanyama secured his second consecutive Western All-Star start. This season, he averages 24.5 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.

Eastern Conference All-Star starters —
Giannis is the top vote-getter in the East and a starter for the All-Star team. This marks his tenth career All-Star selection and tenth consecutive year. This season, he averages 28.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game.

Brunson earned a starting spot for the East All-Star team, his third career selection and third straight year. This season, he averages 28.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game.

Maxey is an Eastern All-Star starter for the second time in his career. This season, he averages 30.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game.

Cunningham is named an East All-Star starter for the second consecutive year and second time overall. This season, he averages 25.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 9.6 assists per game.

Jaylen Brown secured a starting spot for the East All-Star team, marking his fifth career selection and fourth consecutive year. This season, he averages 29.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game.

The 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend will take place at the Clippers’ home arena, Intuition Dome, from February 14th to 16th. The All-Star format features Team USA versus Team World, with two teams of eight American players each competing against one team of eight international players.
