The lineup for the second exhibition game between the Chinese men's basketball team and Serbia's KK FMP club:
Guards: Liao Sanning, Jiang Weize, Pang Zhenglin, Zhao Weilun;
Forwards: Zou Yang, Liu Jinyu, Yang Xiho, Feng Ao, Wang Junjie, Zhao Jiayi;
Centers: Xu Xin, Jiao Poqiao.

Cui Yongxi, who shot 1-for-7 for 4 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists in the first game, was held out of the second game for precautionary reasons, with Zou Yang taking his starting spot. Wang Junjie, who shot 6-for-15 for 18 points and 14 rebounds in the first game, came off the bench as a "proven asset," while Zhao Jiayi replaced him in the starting lineup.

Having already familiarized themselves with FMP's style through the first matchup, the Chinese team effectively stifled their offense from the start in the second game. Our two guards from Guangxi scored with remarkable ease—especially Pang Zhenglin, who turned into a mid-range maestro, hitting every shot. The first quarter ended 21-18 in China's favor.

In the early part of the second quarter, the Chinese team's offense continued to surge, extending the lead to double digits at one point. However, a sudden slowdown in the latter half allowed the opponents to mount a comeback. By halftime, China led 42-34, an eight-point advantage.

Notably, in the first half, FMP recorded only 7 assists but committed as many as 10 turnovers.

In the third quarter, China launched another offensive wave, once again leading by as many as 15 points. They outscored the opponent 25-20 in the period, taking a 13-point lead into the final quarter.

The fourth quarter saw China face a comeback threat. As the score narrowed, tensions escalated between the two sides. Wang Junjie and FMP's No. 11 player got into a confrontation, resulting in a technical foul for one and an unsportsmanlike foul for the other.

In the end, FMP executed a buzzer-beating tip-in to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat on the road (28-14 in the fourth quarter), winning 82-81 and leveling the two-game warm-up series at 1-1.

China's statistics:
Three players scored in double figures. The team made 5 of 18 three-pointers, a dismal 28% shooting percentage.

FMP's statistics:
Their star player, Balna, returned in this game, contributing 22 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals.

Finally, the spotlight falls on Jiao Poqiao, the biggest surprise of the warm-up series for China. He scored a combined 19 points across two games—a stark contrast to the mere 3 points he managed in total during this year's playoffs under Guangdong head coach Du Feng. It turns out Guo Shiqiang truly has the manual for unlocking his potential.
