Famous journalist reveals potential three-team trade framework: Yang Hansen joins Bucks, Giannis to Celtics, Brown to Trail Blazers

On June 14, Beijing time, rumors about Giannis are growing stronger, with the Celtics being the main suitor. Additionally, the chances of Jaylen Brown moving to Portland are increasing. Several journalists have reported the potential for a three-team trade, though the specifics differ. Sidery's latest three-team trade framework includes Chinese player Yang Hansen, who would be traded to the Bucks. The detailed structure is as follows—

Celtics receive: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis

Trail Blazers receive: Jaylen Brown

Bucks receive: Shaedon Sharpe, Yang Hansen, Hugo Gonzalez, Jerami Grant, (from Celtics) 27th pick + 40th pick, (from Trail Blazers) return of 2028–2030 draft picks, (from Celtics) 2031 pick swap rights

Earlier, reporters noted that while the Rockets and Hawks also have interest in Brown, the Bucks' top priority is to reclaim their own draft picks that were sent to the Trail Blazers in the Damian Lillard trade. Therefore, they prefer to have Portland as the third party in the deal.

There are also reports that the Bucks have no desire to acquire Brown and are willing to send him to a third team for appropriate assets, better enabling their rebuild. In this framework, by trading away Giannis and Portis, the Bucks would receive young players and a significant number of draft picks, which should be a reasonable return.

As for Chinese player Yang Hansen, he didn't get enough playing time during his rookie season with the Trail Blazers. After offseason improvement and development, he hopes to better adapt to the NBA. For him, changing teams could be good news for his career growth.
