Done! A multimillion-yuan deal! Another blockbuster transfer in the CBA

In an unnoticed corner, the CBA has actually completed several trades, but since no familiar big names were involved, they haven't caused much of a stir for now...

What's currently worth paying attention to is that the Shandong team traded for mixed-race forward Zhu Mingzhen from the Tongxi team, spending a transfer fee of tens of millions of yuan.

A well-known domestic basketball platform reported that Zhu Mingzhen signed a 3+1 C-type contract with the Shandong team.

Last season, Zhu Mingzhen was on a D-type max contract year, but his annual salary might not be higher than what he will earn with the Shandong team under the C-type contract.

This guy was born on October 8, 1996, stands 1.97 meters tall with a 2.02-meter wingspan, plays as a forward, and was the 20th CBA draft's second overall pick. His career stats so far are as follows:

In the regular season, he averaged 32.6 minutes, 10.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game, with shooting percentages of 41.4%, 38%, and 76.5% from the field, three-point range, and free throws respectively.

In the playoffs, he averaged 37.8 minutes, 9.6 points, and 4.6 rebounds per game, with shooting percentages of 36.6%, 32.6%, and 50%.

It is also worth noting that Zhu Mingzhen has been selected for the national team multiple times and played in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, when the head coach of the Chinese men's basketball team was Du Feng.
