Even with the opportunity, they might not take it! Pacers reportedly have no interest in recruiting LeBron James; Haliburton will share the stage but not lobby.

On July 16th Beijing time, Haliburton will share the stage with James tomorrow, yet that doesn't imply the Pacers intend to launch any recruitment pitches.

According to renowned reporter Brandon Robinson, sources within the league and team have confirmed: Although Haliburton is heading to New York to film the "Mind the Game" podcast with James at the Fanatics Fan Festival, the Indiana Pacers have no intention of pursuing James.

A Pacers insider told Robinson: "It would be great to have LeBron, of course. But we don't need him. We have a lot of young players on the roster, and at this stage, we don't need to bring in LeBron. We want to make a name for ourselves with our current lineup."

Previously, it was officially announced that Haliburton would replace Steve Nash as the co-host for this podcast recording (1:15 PM Eastern Time), sparking speculation about the Pacers' interest in James. However, Robinson stated that this joint appearance is merely a work arrangement for the podcast.

A source B revealed: If the team management gives the order, Haliburton would be willing to lobby James; however, the Pacers currently have no plans to conduct any recruitment.

In addition, Robinson mentioned that when evaluating the Philadelphia 76ers as a potential free-agent destination, LeBron continues to have concerns about Joel Embiid's long-term health.

Multiple league sources have consistently informed HoopsWire that the Cavaliers are viewed as the frontrunners in the LeBron sweepstakes, with the Warriors, Heat, and 76ers also firmly on the list of candidates.

In his report, Robinson also outlined the Pacers' strategy of building around a young core, featuring Haliburton, Siakam, and Jarace Walker, and detailed the long-term plan led by team president Kevin Pritchard.
