Li Yueru voluntarily requested to leave the court due to her injury. In the first quarter against the Sparks, she fell and aggravated an old knee injury; after trying to play through a few more possessions, she ultimately decided to exit the game.
After the game, Chinese media reported that Li Yueru’s injury is quite serious, and the team doctor has advised at least six weeks of rest.
