Yixing Way of All Things

This skin is probably the hardest epic skin to get this year because it goes straight into the Treasure Pavilion and requires 125 Rose Hearts to redeem. Usually, Rose Hearts are only distributed at four times throughout the year, with about 25 Rose Hearts given each time, so players need a long time to accumulate enough—at least a year. However, this skin will return periodically when the Treasure Pavilion reopens, so if you have enough patience, you will eventually get it.

Bian Que Ling Gu Shi Xin

This skin is considered the second hardest epic skin to obtain, mainly due to the high randomness of the monthly welfare gift pack. If many epic skins are missing from the prize pool, the probability of getting this one decreases. Moreover, the current rule guarantees one epic skin every three months, so it’s quite tough to get. Fortunately, there are always chances. The difficulty isn’t ranked higher because it was later made available for direct purchase in the store.

Xi Shi Dream Weaver

This skin is much easier to get, requiring only 710 limited-time coupons to exchange for the package. Completing the tasks takes less than a week, and there are still opportunities to obtain it now. Note that this skin is limited quality and will also be sold directly in the store later. After the sale ends, you’ll have to wait for another return event, so it won’t be free anymore.

Hou Yi Ishida Uryu & Gongsun Li Tushan Rongrong

These two skins share the same acquisition method: exchanging 88 skin fragments. For veteran players, skin fragments are abundant, so getting a few more skins like these is no problem, making them definitely free skins. But for new players, collecting 88 fragments takes a lot of time, especially for free-to-play users, so many couldn’t redeem the Gongsun Li Tushan Rongrong skin this time. These two skins are also limited quality, and after the event period, they lose their free skin status.

Huang Zhong Hundred Faces Guarding Dream

This skin is a truly free skin. Players just need to log in daily and play matches to reach a certain score to redeem it. It’s similar to the warrior skin event. This skin has now become a paid skin but, since it’s not limited, it remains a permanent paid epic skin.

Besides the six skins mentioned above, there is also Yun Ying’s collaboration skin, Cute Ruby. You get it by purchasing with recharge coupons and then receiving bound coupons back, which can be considered a kind of free skin, although players must spend coupons first.
