Hello everyone, I’m Gamer Xiao Di.
King of Glory announced a test server update today, adjusting four heroes and roaming equipment, specifically Nezha, Liu Bei, Arthur, and the Yuanliu Child support. Next, Xiao Di will provide a detailed breakdown of these adjustments.
Change direction: The third skill is modified to charge toward a selected enemy target, including jungle monsters and turrets, gaining super armor during the charge, dealing physical damage and knocking back the target, while also receiving damage reduction and tenacity. Additionally, this skill now benefits from cooldown reduction based on distance traveled, ranging from 50% to 100%. A new fourth skill is added, applying Scorching Fire Seeds to all enemy heroes and granting vision of them. The third skill’s casting range is extended to the entire map, lasting for 5 seconds.
This change essentially reverts Nezha’s skill effects to their original form but splits them into two separate skills. The independent cooldown is naturally a buff for Nezha. This means that when Nezha activates the fourth skill, he gains global vision for five seconds, which is quite a long duration. Moreover, this skill can interrupt some heroes’ recall animations. Overall, this change looks quite promising.
Change direction: Passive: Shotgun fires four pellets, with the middle two dealing higher damage and able to trigger critical hits and item effects. Each pellet hitting a hero grants 5 to 10 physical penetration. First skill: Liu Bei gains a speed boost, and the next basic attack becomes a double shot, with the AD portion capable of critical hits. Second skill: Liu Bei charges forward dealing physical damage and knocking back enemies; the next basic attack fires a burst shell causing additional physical and splash damage, and Liu Bei moves backward a short distance, which can be combined with the first skill. Third skill: Liu Bei removes control effects on himself, gains crowd control immunity and a shield, and enters precision shooting mode, increasing range by 75 and allowing attacks to penetrate targets.
This adjustment is clearly a buff and mostly feels like a return to Liu Bei’s initial state. The changes mainly add new attributes but no new mechanics except for the rollback. Personally, I think Liu Bei’s main issue is his short attack range; adding some movement speed might improve him further.
Change direction: First skill now allows a strengthened basic attack to be cast empty, enabling Arthur to dash forward a short distance. The third skill’s feel is optimized to improve combo flow with other skills. Arthur’s changes were promised by the developers during a recent livestream. The new effect indeed enhances Arthur’s mobility and slightly raises his potential, but overall, his mechanics remain quite simple since he is a beginner hero. Therefore, the strength increase should be limited.
As for the Yuanliu Child support, the main change is an increase in the range of enhanced basic attacks. Roaming equipment now teleports gold collected near heroes instead of turrets, which naturally benefits supports, though the impact won’t be too significant. (Test server adjustments do not represent final values or design.)
