On October 11, the final day of the 2025 KPL Annual Finals arena battle arrived. Following yesterday’s games, the Masters group standings turned quite complex. There might be a need for a BO1 tiebreaker involving four teams.
TTG reverted to their old summer season five-player lineup and started a winning streak, but the strength of the Masters’ rotating roster held them back. Jiuzhe’s key trainee for this finals, Xiaokun, failed to deliver a performance worthy of succeeding Qingqing despite having a tactical role every time he appeared. After DRG lost to KSG, TTG regained the initiative to directly qualify for the playoffs. If they can beat Qingjiu 3-1 or 3-0 in this match, TTG can still secure the fourth spot in the Masters group by net point difference over WB and DRG.
Qingjiu is currently trailing RW Xia by a small margin, so if they want a chance at a tiebreaker, they absolutely cannot be swept today. If their mid and jungle perform as poorly as last match, congratulations to RW Xia might come before 5 PM. But if Qingjiu wins, TTG won’t need to worry about anything else!
WB ended the only winning streak team in the Elite group, TES, with a 3-1 victory last match. This preserved WB’s chance to compete for the fourth Masters spot and also changed the Elite group’s landscape. Originally out of the running for the fourth spot, WB’s prospects improved dramatically due to Wolf Team’s unexpected loss yesterday. If WB beats RW Xia 3-0 today, they will tie with Wolf Team.
For a more dramatic scenario: If TTG beats Qingjiu 3-2 and AG Super Play loses 0-3 to TES, then there will be a four-way tie at 5 wins and 1 loss with a net point difference of 7, resulting in the “ultimate tiebreaker chaos.”
AG has recently shown the level expected of a KPL dominator. Except for dropping one small game against Qingjiu, they won the other two matches 3-0 with ease, standing at 5-0 with a net point difference of 10, ranking second in the Masters group. Winning just one small game today will secure their playoff spot; winning the match by any score will lock in first place in the Masters group. This match is completely pressure-free for them.
Because DRG and Wolf Team both unexpectedly lost 1-3 yesterday, KSG and JDG have tied TES in both match points and net point difference in the large matches. In other words, TES must defeat AG Super Play in a big match to reclaim first place in the Elite group; otherwise, KSG and JDG will face a tiebreaker. Given TES’s poor record against AG Super Play, pulling off such a comeback would require a miracle.
Gongsun Li is the only T0 marksman because her skill ceiling is very high. Players with fast reflexes and good awareness can even take on five opponents alone. All three of Gongsun Li’s abilities include mobility; although difficult to master, she is highly agile. Additionally, her second skill has a unique projectile-blocking mechanic, making her strong against both marksmen and mages. Very few heroes can counter Gongsun Li.
Gongsun Li also benefits from the magic orb build. Her extra attacks frequently trigger orb damage, allowing her to develop quickly and become very strong by mid-game. Moreover, her item build is flexible—selling the electric knife for Infinity Edge late game can switch the orb build into a critical strike build. The orb build focuses on early development, while the crit build emphasizes late-game damage. The transition is smooth, and as long as players have skill, Gongsun Li is currently the strongest marksman to play.
