Hello everyone, I'm Game Xiao Di.
How many of you play Sun Quan? Sun Quan in the new season is still very worth playing, having evolved from the initial budget version of Marco Polo to a premium version of Marco Polo, mainly due to the changes in the "Famous Sword" item, which is indeed beneficial for Sun Quan. This has led to an increase in both Sun Quan's appearance rate and win rate, both almost reaching top-tier data among marksmen. However, after playing him, you'll notice that Sun Quan seems quite "competitive." Sometimes the stats look quite good, but the rating isn't high. In this episode, Xiao Di will briefly share Sun Quan's rating dimensions.

Before starting, let's clarify: since the official rating dimensions for a hero are relatively diverse and there's no corresponding public data, the analysis here is mainly based on hero characteristics, role traits, and practical experience. It may not be entirely accurate, so please take it as a reference. The final rating should be based on the official system. The following analysis mainly focuses on achieving a gold medal evaluation:

Simply put, this examines the hero's role characteristics. As one of the marksmen, Sun Quan's most prominent evaluation points are two. First is damage, since marksmen are the main output force of the team, so damage assessment is obviously essential. The most direct data is the damage share on the results screen—higher is better. Generally, a damage share above 26% is excellent for Sun Quan. Of course, damage comes in many forms, such as converting economy into effective damage, which requires low economy but high damage. Second is tower pushing. Tower pushing is one of the core tasks for marksmen, and Sun Quan also values tower damage. Therefore, in-game, try to participate in tower pushing as much as possible, especially the defensive towers on the development lane. At least ensure you independently destroy two development lane towers or fully participate in destroying three towers during team fights.

This is easy to understand—it's about contribution to the whole team. As a marksman, Sun Quan's team contribution requirements aren't too strict. First is participation rate. Marksmen's participation rate is hard to guarantee because they are relatively weak early on, so participation rate mainly improves later. Xiao Di personally feels that exceeding 50% is already a decent figure. Second is involvement in controlling dragons. Since marksmen have high damage, their efficiency in controlling dragons is high, so this is usually a key evaluation point. It's recommended that Sun Quan participate in controlling at least 2–3 dragons. Lastly, there's a point that might surprise some: the jungle, including defending the jungle and counter-jungling. Xiao Di discovered this unintentionally—once, after many fights in the jungle, even though the stats were average, the rating was quite good. Possibly because Sun Quan has several skills with area damage, so there might be assessment in this aspect.

This examines the hero itself. Because Sun Quan's skills provide considerable damage reduction, combined with his own mechanics, Sun Quan is quite strict on death count. Personally, it's best not to die more than 3 times, especially avoiding being solo killed. If you die after killing multiple enemies consecutively, it's acceptable. Additionally, consecutive kills are important. Theoretically, Sun Quan can almost infinitely use his ultimate, which works better with more enemies, allowing him to output full damage. So Sun Quan needs data on consecutive kills, which isn't hard. As long as there are no major development issues later, you can usually find many suitable opportunities.

That's all for this content. If you think it's good, feel free to like and support. If you have anything to say, ask, or want to see, leave a comment below—I'll read them all!
