Hello everyone, I'm Game Xiaodi.
A few years ago, Honor of Kings had been consistently working on a "Skin Upgrade Plan," where early skins priced at 888 vouchers but not reaching epic quality were optimized. About ten skins were upgraded, gaining unanimous praise from players. However, after Zhao Yun's Future Era was optimized, the plan was put on hold, and no such updates were heard for three and a half years. Recently, the officials finally announced the restart of the "Skin Upgrade Plan," with the first skin being Sun Bin's Angel Wings. Everyone has likely seen some details about the optimization, so I won't repeat them here. This issue mainly discusses which other skins might have a chance to be optimized.

Two skins: Da Mo's Great Inventor and Cheng Yaojin's Interstellar Marine Corps. They are similar to Sun Bin's Angel Wings—priced at 888 vouchers, labeled as Brave quality. However, Da Mo's skin is special as it has its own unique voice lines and a research-maniac theme, while Cheng Yaojin's has a more common sci-fi style but still focuses on the human element.

Four skins: Han Xin's Street Bully, Dian Wei's Golden Warrior, A Ke's Loving Care, and Zhao Yun's Yan Ren Ying (Flame Shadow). The jungle role has the most skins of this type. Han Xin's skin has a relatively low chance of being optimized, mainly because players love it and it's very popular. The officials even released many Star Wars skins for it, making changes difficult. Dian Wei's skin follows a golden theme; there are similar golden-themed skins in the canyon, like the Saint Seiya collaboration series, but Dian Wei's is unrelated to Saint Seiya, so even if optimized, it won't lean in that direction.

A Ke's skin is relatively rare in the canyon, with a nurse theme. If optimized, the final result could be quite impressive and worth looking forward to. Zhao Yun's skin really resembles Kakashi from Naruto—in fact, it was an early imitation, but after the game became popular, it was renamed. I recall it was originally a reward for accumulating 4000 vouchers, but now it can be exchanged in the Fragment Shop.

Two skins: Wu Zetian's Oriental Undefeated and Bian Que's Eye of Salvation. This skin is a bit hard to evaluate because the hero itself requires a Glory Crystal to obtain, but the skin clearly doesn't match Wu Zetian's value. More importantly, during the early optimization plan, this skin was highly requested by players, so the officials replied in 2019 that they had received feedback and were waiting for a schedule. Unexpectedly, that wait has lasted seven years. Who knows if there's a chance this time? Bian Que's skin also rode on popularity, copying a banned Japanese manga character, and was later renamed. In this optimization, the officials have also changed Bian Que's appearance. Plus, in the recent community vote, Bian Que came first, so the chances of optimization are high.

As for Marksman and Roam roles, there are currently no skins of this type left—after all, Sun Bin's skin is already being optimized. Regardless, I hope the officials can optimize all of them, giving players a better experience.
