Hi everyone, I'm Game Xiaodi.

As June approaches, Honor of Kings has also revealed the returning skins for the monthly gift box. However, there's hardly any novelty—the two skins are Shangguan Wan'er's Divine Artifact: Myriad Brush and Garo's Amber Epoch. Why no novelty? Because these two skins have already appeared in this return pool more than once or twice. It's starting to feel like the old skin fragment shop, where skins just rotate on and off the shelves. Moreover, both Shangguan Wan'er and Garo have had multiple skins return in this way. Aside from these two, there have also been Shangguan Wan'er's Wonderland Tales, Shangguan Wan'er's Galaxy Magic Troupe, Garo's Starseeker, and Garo's Blazing Radiant Glow.

Of course, no matter how many times a skin returns, there will always be players who want to get them. So, are these two skins worth buying? First, the skins themselves are of fairly good quality, so there's not much to introduce there. The key is to look at the hero's skin options and their strength in the current meta.

Shangguan Wan'er

Shangguan Wan'er actually has quite a few skins, but most of the high-quality ones are limited, meaning you can't buy them even if you want to. However, this changed this year because the official team released a direct-sale epic skin for her called Spring Rain Is Coming. The overall quality is also decent, so you don't have to chase limited skins too much anymore.

In terms of hero strength, Shangguan Wan'er performs better than expected. Her win rate in all segments is stable above 51%. Generally, most heroes have a big gap between high-tier and low-to-mid-tier win rates, but the fact that her win rate is so consistent across segments shows that her strength is decent. The only thing to consider is her difficulty, but after a minor rework, her difficulty has been greatly reduced. Overall, the skin is worth getting.

Garo

Garo's skins are just as impressive as Shangguan Wan'er's—she even has the highest-quality skins like the Glory Collection and the Legendary Treasure. Currently, the only high-quality skin you can buy directly is Arrow Feather Wind, but there's no need to spend vouchers on it because you can get it for free through in-game events. So Amber Epoch doesn't really have a special competitive edge. Also, I remember that when this skin first launched with a promotion, you could get it for just 288 vouchers, but now it costs 888 vouchers. In comparison, it's not very cost-effective.

Garo's strength is unquestionable, especially in low-to-mid-tier games, where players don't have the awareness to dive the marksman. As she slowly develops, it becomes hard for the enemy to stop her. Her overall win rate across all segments is as high as 53%, the highest among all marksmen. In peak and high-tier matches, the win rate is slightly lower but still stable around 51%. Also, her difficulty is almost nonexistent—just pay attention to positioning. Overall, the skin is also worth getting.

So, will you choose to get these two skins?
