Hello everyone, I’m Xiaodi from Game.
In the recent update announcement from Honor of Kings, it was explicitly mentioned that the "Fragment Shop Lottery Ticket" will be removed. Many players might not have noticed. In this episode, Xiaodi will take you through what this news implies.

The official announcement clearly states that the "Skin Fragment Lottery" and "Hero Fragment Lottery" features will be officially taken offline after the S44 season update, meaning they will close once this season ends. The reason given is a vague "optimization of shop functionality experience," without specifying exactly what will change.

After the feature is removed, lottery tickets will automatically convert into corresponding hero or skin fragments at a 1:2 ratio. Of course, you can still draw now. Whether to wait for automatic conversion or use them all before removal has no definitive answer: automatic conversion gives a fixed 2 hero/skin fragments, but drawing could land you a jackpot—a complete skin/hero—or a trial card, or the same fragments but in quantities of 1–2. So it's entirely up to you whether to take a risk or settle for the guaranteed reward.
Over the past year or so, the official has frequently adjusted features related to the "fragment" game item:
First, the skin fragment red packet feature in the game was disabled. Initially, only the guild skin fragment red packet was turned off, but later the lobby skin fragment red packet was also closed. From then on, there has been no channel for players to transfer skin fragments between accounts.

Then, the skin fragment shop successively added multiple skins. In addition to the annual inclusion of previous year's epic skins (last year was Li Bai's "Fox of the Thousand Years"), the official also introduced new limited epic skins like Gongsun Li's "Tushan Rongrong" and Hou Yi's "Ishida Uryu". Most are popular hero skins, and many warrior skins are added to the shop after their flash sales end.

After that, the method of obtaining new heroes was changed. Besides the original methods of using gold, vouchers, and hero fragments, new heroes now come with training quests upon release. Completing these quests grants the hero, and only then are other exchange methods unlocked. Hero fragments have become almost useless.
Subsequently, the fragment shop was revamped. All heroes and skins in the fragment shop pool were changed from rotating updates to permanent availability. Players can now exchange at any time without waiting for the official's fixed update frequency.

Additionally, the official has launched limited-time events giving away skin fragments, which have been especially frequent in the past year. They have also introduced events for exchanging in-game items, such as using hero fragments to exchange for star coins.
Now we come to the removal of the fragment shop lottery tickets. This has little impact on most players, but for those who wished to hit the jackpot in one draw, they will no longer have that opportunity. Overall, the changes are mostly beneficial to players, making fragments more standardized and useful.
That's all for this episode. If you found it helpful, feel free to give a like and support. If you have anything to say, ask, or want to see, leave a comment—I'll check them all~
