Recently, King of Glory has added several new Courage skins to the Fragment Shop, including the returning Agudo’s Pudding Dog Date, the newly released Duo Liya’s Phantom Sea Trace, and Lu Ban No.7’s Express Agent, which was added after the Honor of Kings World event ended. All three require only 48 skin shards to exchange. However, not all players have plenty of skin shards. If you can only exchange for one, which one should you choose?

Priority goes to Agudo

The most important reason is that Agudo’s Pudding Dog Date is the only collaboration skin among the three, and it’s also a limited skin. After this period, it will be removed from the Fragment Shop directly, leaving no chance to exchange for it later. The other two skins are permanent, so you can wait until you have enough skin shards to exchange them later.

Furthermore, Agudo doesn’t have many skins. Although there is a free Epic skin, the anniversary limited skin Rivers Have Spirit, it’s generally not obtainable under normal circumstances. So this Pudding Dog Date is currently the highest quality free skin Agudo can get.

Next is Duo Liya

Duo Liya has only been released for about two or three years, but thanks to her high popularity, she has already received quite a few skins. However, most of them are not free. Before Phantom Sea Trace was added, only her initial Golden Tide could be exchanged with shards. That said, Duo Liya still has options, and both Courage skins can be exchanged with shards, so Phantom Sea Trace doesn’t have that urgency to be exchanged.

Moreover, the special effects of Phantom Sea Trace are quite nice, giving a feel like a budget version of Pearl Mermaid. And Pearl Mermaid was also seen by many as a budget version of Heartfelt Notes when it first launched, so the effects are still pleasing. However, the face model of this skin appears somewhat rounder than expected, which is a bit of a flaw.

Lastly is Lu Ban No.7

The reason to consider it last is that Lu Ban No.7 has the most skins among the three heroes, with dozens of skins covering almost all qualities. There are also many free and welfare skins, such as Electric Gamer, Lion Dance in the East, and Ban Ban Express. So this Express Agent clearly lacks competitiveness and is hard to choose as the first option.

On the other hand, Lu Ban No.7’s skin can actually be obtained for free by completing corresponding tasks in Honor of Kings World. In comparison, if you don’t have many skin shards in the first place, exchanging it is not really worthwhile.

Of course, last year King of Glory also added two limited Epic skins to the Fragment Shop, both in the second half of the year. It’s unclear whether the same benefit will return this year, but it’s still advisable to save some skin shards for emergencies. Unless you particularly like these Courage skins, it’s better to wait.
