Hi everyone, I’m Game Xiaodi.
As you all know, Honor of Kings World Season 1 recently officially launched. To encourage players to actively participate, the game has released a brand-new Brave skin—Mozi’s Shattered Light Steward. To be honest, this skin might not be very appealing to most players, especially since it can currently only be obtained by playing Honor of Kings World and completing specific quests. So how difficult are these quests? Is it worth the effort?

The quests this time are actually quite simple. They come in two types: daily quests and periodic quests. The daily quests require activity points—you need to reach 120 activity points in the "Chaowen Dao" system each day to earn 30 points. You can do this up to 30 times in total.

Then there are the periodic quests, which are one-time tasks. There are three of them: Hua Mulan’s Resonance Quest, completing Chapter 9 of the main storyline, and finishing the "Kun You - Glory Tower: Xiao Man Wu An" quest. These give 60, 60, and 50 points respectively, totaling 170 points.
So how many points do you need to exchange for Mozi’s Shattered Light Steward? 240 points. Simply put, if you only do the daily activity quests, it will take 8 days. But if you combine both types of quests, it can be done in as little as 3 days—because the periodic quests give 170 points, and you’ll only need 70 more points from 3 days of daily quests.

From this perspective, if you already play Honor of Kings World, it’s just a side benefit. But for new players who want to get this reward, it’s more challenging. For example, completing Chapter 9 of the main storyline requires having finished the first 8 chapters beforehand. For completely new players, this periodic quest effectively means finishing Chapters 1 through 9, which takes a lot of time and effort. Obviously, sticking to the daily quests is more cost-effective.
Actually, I’ve introduced this before. Let me explain it again for new players so they can understand the difficulty:
The Chaowen Dao activity requires a maximum of 120 activity points, and it usually resets at 4:00 AM daily. It’s a major source of experience for new players in the early game. The quests are divided into five types: Challenges, Exploration, Wild Bosses, Life Skills, and Social Interaction.

It’s recommended to prioritize Wild Boss quests. Defeating one typically gives 40 activity points, so you only need to take down three to reach 120—this can be done in as fast as 5 minutes. However, high-level Wild Bosses are hard for new players to beat early on. If you can’t find any, you’ll have to spend time on other quests.

Quests like exploring pits, opening chests, fishing, and herb gathering also give decent activity points. Do a few if you’re short. Weekly dungeons give a lot of activity, but you can only do them once a week—that’s not very helpful for a new player trying to do 8 days of daily quests. I’d suggest saving them for a day when you’re in a hurry.
If you have no intention of playing Honor of Kings World and don’t want to wait to exchange it in the Fragment Shop, there’s actually a clever workaround to get the skin immediately—and it’s free!

Use the game’s "mistaken exchange" mechanism. The specific steps are: first, prepare 48 skin fragments. Go to the shop and pick any Brave skin that costs 48 fragments to exchange—for example, the newly released Lu Ban No.7 Speed Agent. Then contact Honor of Kings customer service and tell them you exchanged the wrong skin. A menu will pop up offering you equally valuable skins to swap for. You’ll find Mozi’s Shattered Light Steward among them. Select it to swap. Later, you can spend another 48 fragments to exchange for Lu Ban No.7’s Speed Agent again.

Note that you shouldn’t wait too long between these operations—ideally within 72 hours, or the trick won’t work. If you’re interested, give it a try! Also, this method might be patched at any time, so do it as soon as possible before the developers fix it.

So, are you interested in Mozi’s Shattered Light Steward?
