Hello everyone, I'm Xiaodi, a gaming enthusiast.
As we all know, the current state of marksmen in this patch is quite concerning, which is why many of them have switched to on-hit builds, making items like End of the World and Dagger of Lightning Bolt their go-to equipment. However, a recent hero adjustment by the developers has allowed Lesio to rise against the trend to rise, with win rate stats surpassing all other marksmen to claim the top spot. You must seize this ranking information gap to climb the ladder!

According to the camp data, Lesio's win rates across all brackets, peak 1350+ and top-tier ranked games are 53.5%, 5%, 52. 3% and 52. 4% respectively. These figures are the highest for marksmen in all three brackets, clearly indicating Lesio's strength has increased. Why is it called an information gap? Because not many players know about this yet, so his pick rate remains low. In all brackets, his pick rate is below 8%, and in the full bracket it's even less than 5%.

And this all thanks to the previous adjustment and buff: Lesio's first and ultimate skills have received numerical adjustments, mainly increasing some additional AD values. Although the increase is small—0.1 for the first skill and 0.2 for the third skill—the actual numerical feedback is quite substantial, as it also benefits from critical strike damage.
Here's a knowledge point: the additional AD bonus AD scaling typically comes from physical attack provided by skin properties, equipment, and runes. A simple way to check is to open the attribute panel; in the first column's physical output, the orange number in parentheses is your bonus AD, usually around 350 points.

Therefore, in this situation, it is recommended to start with an Iron Sword as your initial item. The Iron Sword provides 20 points of bonus physical attack, allowing you to effectively benefit from the buff, which is a better choice than the standard Dagger or Cloth Shoes. With this enhancement, Lesio's wave clear and development speed have been boosted, and his power spike arrives earlier. Previously, he needed at least four items to deal enough damage, but now three items might be sufficient, making his growth curve much smoother.
Xiaodi has observed that the current build approach among top-tier players generally follows an on-hit plus penetration strategy combined with penetration. The first three items are End of the World, Swift Boots, and Gales' Breath, followed by the Penetrator and Duskblade to add penetration. The last slot is flexible: for survivability, -Taker's Sword; for extended range, Bow of%Light; for better chasing power, Biting Frost; or even adding some magic resist and armor items is viable.

The reason for this approach is that the on-hit the early game significantly, allowing marksmen to more smoothly through the weak early stage. The later penetration items not only help mitigate damage reduction effects but also enhance physical attack, further amplifying damage output.

In summary, Lesio is definitely worth trying right now. Give him a go before most players catch on!
