Hello everyone, I'm Xiaodi from Gaming.

Today while checking camp data, Xiaodi found that the new hero Liu'er's overall win rate across all tiers has finally exceeded 50%, and it's been about a week since the new season update. Generally, 50% is considered the baseline; surpassing it indicates the hero's strength has entered the "upper tier". In fact, since Liu'er's release, discussions about his power level have been abundant. So, let's take this opportunity to talk again about how strong Liu'er really is.

What exactly is Liu'er's strength reflected in?

First, is Liu'er truly strong? Xiaodi believes this is beyond doubt. Both the data performance and actual in-game experience clearly demonstrate his strength. Some players might argue that Liu'er's stats aren't that great, but in reality, as a new hero, this performance is quite impressive. Moreover, Liu'er's popularity upon release was very high; along with a high pick rate, his win rate maintains a decent base, which should be enough to prove his strength.

As for Liu'er's strength, the hover mechanism is undoubtedly the most prominent feature. Previously, there was also a hero named Laixi'ao with a hover mechanism, but the developers clearly restrained it. However, with Liu'er, it is fully unleashed, causing many heroes' skills to be ineffective against him. Moreover, Liu'er's hover duration is quite long, significantly raising his skill ceiling. However, this week's update fixed some bugs related to the hover mechanism, allowing some skills to hit Liu'er while he is hovering. But it's okay—Liu'er still has his ultimate's untargetable effect, which can also avoid damage. So Liu'er will definitely be affected, but not too much.

Which heroes are good against Liu'er?

If you really think Liu'er is too strong, the best way is to ban this hero. Of course, if Liu'er still gets through, these heroes can counter him:

Arthur. Both Arthur's first and third skills have silence effects. Although silence may not seem like hard crowd control, it can effectively interrupt skill combos. Once there is a gap in the skill chain, you can seize the opportunity to counterattack. Moreover, Arthur usually builds tank items, with at most one Shadow Axe, so his tankiness is not afraid of Liu'er's sustained poke. Additionally, Arthur's skill cooldowns are very short in the late game, so he is not afraid to fight Liu'er, who also has short cooldowns.

Miyamoto Musashi. Liu'er himself is a highly mobile hero, but Miyamoto's ultimate locks onto the target and can track from a very long distance, which is quite effective against Liu'er. Moreover, this ultimate can also hit Liu'er while he is hovering. Additionally, Miyamoto's ultimate applies a grievous wounds effect, making it difficult for Liu'er to recover health and reducing his sustained combat capability.

Of course, counter relationships are not absolute. Liu'er's overall strength is indeed strong right now, and relying on a single hero to completely shut him down is unrealistic. A more reliable approach is to coordinate in a group, using crowd control chains and focus fire to limit Liu'er's performance.

That's all for now. If you think it's good, feel free to give a like to support. If there's anything you want to say, ask, or see, leave your footprints in the comments—I'll check them out~
