Hello everyone, I'm Xiaodi from Game Talks.

Yuanmeng skins have always been a special series in Honor of Kings. The model, where players co-create, vote, and the official team brings it to life, is unique in the skin market. For the latest works, Taiyi True Ren "Nightmare Scavenger" and Sima Zhen "Zhenxie", the official team has released image optimization plans, a routine step for necessary adjustments. After seeing the comparison images released by the official team, Xiaodi feels these adjustments turned out even better than expected. Let's take a detailed look at the changes in this episode.

Taiyi True Ren "Nightmare Scavenger"

The first change is the main body, specifically the head proportion. The previous head-to-body ratio looked a bit off in the game. Tightening the head proportion makes it look much more natural now. Additionally, the clothing and equipment combinations have been revamped, elevating the design to a higher level, no longer feeling as hastily assembled.

The second change is on the mount. The main adjustment is the volume of the mount, and the connection point to Taiyi True Ren's body has also been modified. Overall, it looks much more stable. The connection between the mount and the main body in the old version always felt a bit awkward. After this modification, the sense of stability is significantly improved.

Finally, there are adjustments to the weapon as well. These are mainly detail optimizations. The forging slot now has a much better sense of three-dimensionality instead of looking like a flat surface, greatly improving the overall texture.

Sima Zhen "Zhenxie"

Moving on to Sima Zhen "Zhenxie". This Yuanmeng skin features a flame theme. The official team's adjustments here are significantly more extensive than those for Taiyi True Ren. Nearly everything from the face, decorations, modeling, to special effects has been touched.

First, let's look at the appearance adjustments. The facial structure, contours, body proportions, and head-to-body ratio have all been readjusted. They now better fit Sima Zhen's character. The old version looked handsome, but to be honest, its recognition factor wasn't very high among other skins.

The main body decorations have also seen many changes. Details like the necklace, collar decorations, and patterns have been refined. The previous decorations were a bit rough, but after this detailed polish, they have a clearer sense of depth. The transformation form decorations have also been changed. The colors and textures of the shoulder and chest armor have been readjusted, resulting in much better overall coordination in the transformed state compared to the old version.

Xiaodi believes the flame effect is the most crucial adjustment for Sima Zhen "Zhenxie". The flame colors have been changed, and the pattern lines are much clearer, integrating well with the main body instead of looking detached. The old version's flame looked explosive but somewhat chaotic. After this tweak, it looks much smoother and pleasing.

Xiaodi feels that Taiyi True Ren's "Nightmare Scavenger" turned out better. Overall, it fits Honor of Kings' art style more cohesively. Sima Zhen's skin still feels a bit like it's on a different layer. However, the final judgment depends on the actual in-game model. Still, there likely won't be major changes since the current completion level is already quite high. I hope we can see the final implementation soon. After all, this theme has a great reputation. What do you all think?
