Hello everyone, I'm Youxi Xiaodi.

The World Cup is currently in full swing, creating the strongest football atmosphere, so Honor of Kings has planned to release some football-related events to boost the excitement. Among them is a brand-new skin, Zhang Fei's "Street Guardian," which will be given to all players for free. So, how does this skin actually perform?

Out-of-game appearance

Looking at the out-of-game appearance first, this skin mainly uses purple and green with black and gold accents, featuring a street-style color collision that instantly gives a vibrant and energetic feel. Moreover, the design exudes a cool and hip-hop vibe, creating a stark contrast with Zhang Fei's original rough warrior style.

Compared to Zhang Fei's existing skins, this "Street Guardian" has a unique style. Most of Zhang Fei's current skins are closely tied to the Liu-Guan-Zhang series, with only the rare legendary skin "Rabbit" being independent and somewhat innovative. So this modern, trendy skin stands out quite a bit, and given it's only an Epic-quality skin, it's impressive.

In-game effects

As an Epic-quality skin, the effects naturally won't be as flashy as Legendary or Epic skins, but it still features matching color schemes and element replacements. The effects are much better than the previous Epic skins, making it a truly solid piece of work.

The basic attack releases colorful spray-paint particles with neon trails; the first skill sweeps and explodes into large fluorescent graffiti color blocks, revealing football field lines on the ground. This design idea is quite clever—it conveys the theme without being too flashy. The transformation form slams the ground, creating a massive burst of purple-green light mist, giving the visual effects more impact.

The second skill lands and generates a transparent, football-shaped neon shield—this is what Xiaodi found most creative. As for the ultimate, Zhang Fei is surrounded by a field light trail, roars to unleash a spiral purple-green graffiti shockwave, and switches to a beast-like form. The graffiti shockwave in team fights is highly recognizable, and the overall visual impact is quite good for an Epic-quality skin.

Is it worth getting?

This skin can be obtained by participating in the in-game limited-time event "Exchange for Zhang Fei" for free. The event runs from July 9 to 21. After the event ends, the skin will be added to the Fragment Shop, where it can be exchanged for 48 skin fragments or purchased directly for 488 vouchers.

Since it's a free skin, there's no reason not to claim it. This skin has a relatively high degree of completion for an Epic quality: it has an independent color scheme, football and graffiti theme elements, and corresponding skill effect replacements. Unlike some Epic skins that are basically just recolorings of the original, its cost-effectiveness is maximized. Of course, Zhang Fei already has several skins, so if you already own higher-quality ones like "Rabbit" or "Hundred Guardian," it doesn't matter as much.

That's all for today. If you found it interesting, feel free to give a like to show support. If you have anything to say, ask, or want to see, leave a comment below—I'll read them all!
