Which choice won't lead to regret? These are likely questions many new players have, and this article will discuss them.

Skins > Heroes > Minion Skins

Currently, the Glory Crystal shop offers three types of rewards. My personal recommendation is to prioritize skins over heroes, and heroes over minion skins. This is because skins are made with more effort and provide the most direct feedback to players. Compared to the other two rewards, they are the obvious first choice. As for minion skins, my experience is that they feel novel at first, but the novelty wears off quickly, making them less cost-effective. They should be considered last.

Specific Choices

Regarding skins, there are now about twenty options, so there's plenty to choose from. The best choice is definitely the hero or role you play most often. After all, skins are meant to be used, and if you pick one for a hero you never play, even the flashiest effects won't matter. For example, for the top lane, options include夏侯惇's Infinite飓风, 关羽's Red Shadow疾风, 程咬金's Vitality突击, etc. If you don't have a particular favorite hero, go for the newest典藏 skin, like 安琪拉's Upside-Down Fairy Tale·Magic Mirror. The newer the skin, the better the effects and model details, thanks to technological advancements.

For heroes, there's really only one choice: 武则天. If you're aiming for the achievement of owning all heroes, then 武则天 is a must-have. In this version, with the boost from the 无象神器, her strength has improved significantly compared to before, especially since her ultimate cooldown has been greatly reduced. So, she actually offers a decent gaming experience. Interested players can consider exchanging for her.

As for minion skins, there are quite a few now, but generally, I don't recommend exchanging for them. While you can use them every game, the novelty only lasts a short while, and most of the time you focus on your hero. Plus, only your own minions get the skin; the enemy minions remain the default look. Although this is for easy identification, it still feels like a compromised experience. Sometimes during the ban-pick phase, teammates or opponents might share their minion skins, so you can try them out then. If you really want one, only consider the newest minion skins, because older ones have that "black face" element that doesn't look great.
