The biggest boss of Group A has appeared, and EDG is truly a team that can't rise to the occasion, always faltering at critical moments.

As a top-six team in the Spring Split, EDG's performance in Group A is still something to look forward to. In the first match, EDG successfully defeated UUG, who dropped down from Group S. After this match, expectations for EDG increased even more! However, every time it comes to a crucial moment, EDG tends to falter. In the match against QJ for the top spot in Group A, EDG lost to their opponents again!

In the first game,at the 2-minute mark in the top lane, both junglers exchanged blows. At 4 minutes, EDG secured the first Tyrant and countered the red buff, but Su Lie was killed. At 7 minutes, EDG took down the mid-lane first tower and then initiated an attack to kill two opponents. At 11 minutes, EDG secured the Shadow Tyrant, but Cang picked up a double kill. At 14 minutes, QJ won a team fight with a zero-for-two exchange, destroying the top lane inhibitor. At 16 minutes, QJ forced a team fight with the dragon, and Cang delivered massive damage with a triple kill, leading to multiple kills and ultimately destroying the crystal, taking the first game.

EDG's early game in this match was dominated, lacking any operational strategy. Several team fights saw Cao Cao being focused down without executing a good fight, and the dragon fight was hesitant and indecisive.

In the second game,at the 4-minute mark, EDG killed two opponents in the mid lane and immediately secured the Tyrant. At 8 minutes, QJ found an opportunity to initiate an attack, with Gongsun Li achieving a double kill. At 11 minutes, QJ won a team fight with a zero-for-two exchange, securing the Shadow Tyrant. At 12 minutes, QJ executed a team fight with a one-for-three exchange, taking down the mid-lane first tower. At 15 minutes, QJ killed the opposing marksman and then, utilizing the dragon minions, destroyed the crystal to take the second game.

In this match, QJ was initially very passive, and Gongsun Li, with an output build, struggled in unfavorable conditions. However, around the 9-minute mark, EDG made consecutive mistakes. If there was a chance for EDG to make mistakes in the bot lane, the subsequent blind charge by Ben Lang, controlled continuously by Su Lie and Da Mo, allowed QJ to grow stronger. It was unacceptable for EDG to make mistakes at this point; the scenes of Windwalker and Da Mo were too prominent.

Although EDG managed to win the third game, overall, QJ still held the advantage. In the fourth game,at the 4-minute mark, QJ secured the Tyrant, and then both teams gained a kill each. At 8 minutes, QJ caught and killed Da Mo. At 10 minutes, Haiyue fell first, but Tongxiang QJ secured the Shadow Tyrant and killed two opponents. At 16 minutes, Taiyi Zhenren delivered explosive damage to multiple opponents, allowing QJ to destroy the crystal and win the match.

With a score of 3-1, QJ once again defeated EDG. After winning the match, QJ's ranking temporarily rose to the top of Group A!

In the fourth game, EDG picked Di Renjie, but it turned out to be completely ineffective. The hero Di Renjie is very strong when ahead, but becomes nearly useless when behind or in the later stages! In the early to mid-game, Di Renjie is exceptionally powerful, with his second skill providing crowd control and his high movement speed ensuring strong sustained damage output, often creating significant pressure in the farming lane. Additionally, once Di Renjie acquires the Lightning Dagger and the End of Days, his damage output undergoes a qualitative change.

However, Di Renjie becomes weaker as the game progresses because his build is focused on spell damage, and his skills do not deal true damage. Therefore, in the late game, his damage output becomes very low, making it difficult to deal with tanky opponents. Moreover, since Di Renjie lacks mobility skills, self-preservation becomes a significant issue in the late game. Players should avoid dragging the game into the late stages when using Di Renjie.
