Additionally, there are event missions: logging in daily earns you 10 coupons (up to 140 total); playing matches each day gives 20 coupons (up to 280 total); and sharing or using a lantern once nets you 5 coupons.

It’s important to note that the maximum number of coupons you can earn from all sources during this event is 710, so even if you receive only advanced lanterns, you won’t exceed this limit.

Important Reminders

First, there’s no need to stress over getting advanced lanterns. Based on the event period, if you complete all 14 days of missions—even with just basic lanterns—you can still reach 705 coupons. It’s very unlikely you’ll get basic lanterns every day; just one intermediate lantern will push you to the full 710 coupons. The key is to complete all fourteen days of tasks, otherwise you might fall short.

Second, pay attention to when the coupon shop closes. This event ends on August 31, but the coupon shop remains open until September 14. So even if you collect all 710 coupons early, plus the 100 coupons given on August 19, there’s no rush to redeem them. You can wait for the second round of the coupon event and decide when to exchange based on your total and personal needs. This round’s shop offers eight legendary skins for 1688 coupons and four epic skins for 2888 coupons. The second phase will likely feature more coupon giveaways. Of course, if you’ve already set your sights on the new Xi Shi skin, Dream Weaver, just redeem your coupons once you have enough.

Overall, this event is pretty straightforward. Even the sharing/help mission only needs to be done once, so you won’t need to bother friends repeatedly. Plus, the random element in the tasks adds a bit of excitement—everyone hopes to get the advanced lanterns for more coupons in one go. The event is already underway, so don’t forget to join in!
