Prior to the third stage kickoff, numerous reports suggested jiejie would leave IG. Midway through the third stage, IG officially announced jiejie's exit. Many hoped he would join BLG or another top team to keep pursuing his dreams, but surprisingly, on the afternoon of the 23rd, FPX suddenly declared: jiejie is now part of the team!

FPX’s official announcement stated: after friendly discussions, jiejie will join as a jungler to fight alongside the team in future competitions. FPX, however, ranks last in the Pinnacle Group, with no connection to this year’s World Championship and uncertain chances of reaching playoffs. Yet jiejie actually joined FPX, which sparked widespread discussion.

Under FPX’s announcement on Weibo, some fans commented: FPX is about to start their Knight’s Journey, maybe jiejie joined hoping to achieve good results there! Others disagreed, believing that even with jiejie, FPX’s Knight’s Journey would end quickly. FPX currently has a 1-11 record in the Pinnacle Group, only winning one BO3 against IG and losing all other matches.
