IG2-0 easily swept WE, securing a top 3 spot in the Peak Group! Complete domination, Gala went undefeated in both games.

During the third stage of the LPL, IG and WE battled in a BO3. After two games, IG triumphed 2-0 over WE, securing their 10th victory and a spot in the Peak Group’s top 3! WE’s record dropped to 2 wins and 11 losses, continuing their slump and remaining near the bottom of the rankings.

In the first game, WE’s lineup was Galio top, Wukong jungle, Aurelion Sol mid, Kaisa and Nami bot; IG ran Rumble top, Poppy jungle, Orianna mid, Yuumi and Bard bot. During laning, IG’s Poppy caught Monki’s Wukong, and Gala on Yuumi secured first blood. Later, Karis’s Aurelion Sol solo killed Rookie’s Orianna, IG took Rift Herald early and gained a 1K gold lead.

In the mid game, IG destroyed the first tower in the mid lane. At 18 minutes, IG initiated a fight in their jungle and wiped WE’s team; Vampire’s Nami was controlled and killed by Meiko’s Bard ultimate. IG then killed Cube’s Galio mid and secured the Rift Herald. At 24 minutes, IG took the dragon to reach match point. At 26 minutes, IG took the first Baron without damage and chased down two WE members. Finally, at 28 minutes, Vampire’s Nami attempted a flank but failed, IG counter-engaged, wiped WE, and won the first game. The highest damage dealer in game one was TheShy’s Rumble, while Karis’s Aurelion Sol dealt the most damage for WE.

In the second game, WE’s lineup was Mordekaiser top, Pantheon jungle, Taliyah mid, Jhin and Taric bot; IG’s lineup featured Cho’Gath top, Trundle jungle, Ahri mid, Corki and Rell bot. During laning, there was a 3v3 skirmish in the jungle involving mid, jungle, and support from both sides; Taeyoon’s Jhin also helped, resulting in WE trading one for two, with Wei’s Trundle securing first blood. Later, Wei’s Trundle ganked top to help TheShy’s Cho’Gath kill Cube’s Mordekaiser, and IG took the first tower on top lane. Both teams then contested Rift Herald, where IG initiated a fight, killed four WE members, and secured the Herald, gaining a 2K gold lead early on.

In the mid game, IG took the Rift Herald without taking damage. At 25 minutes, IG aggressively fought for the Rift Herald again; WE tried to contest with TheShy’s Cho’Gath, but lacked damage. IG’s teammates arrived to surround and wipe WE, achieving a flawless 5-for-0 exchange and pushing straight to destroy the base.
