"Peyz ranks last in multiple official statistics," a hot topic, leading the charts in minion kills but delivering zero output in three-lane team fights.

Introduction: The S15 season is underway, and the vast majority of players have been watching the recent matchups attentively. The competitions in various regions are gradually wrapping up, and the LPL playoff race is extremely intense. JDG, a team under the spotlight, has had an unstable performance and results this season. Even with a lavish lineup built at great expense, they ended up ranked sixth. This outcome sparked widespread ridicule online, especially targeting the newly recruited Korean AD carry Peyz, hailed as an LCK prodigy but after a year in the LPL, he ranks at the bottom in multiple stats, leads in minion kills but has the lowest damage output, struggles across all lanes, and delivers zero damage in team fights.

Peyz ranks last in various official statistics.

Most players are quite familiar with JDG, an LPL team backed by e-commerce. Since its establishment, the team has enjoyed high popularity and consistently ranked among the top in the league, usually finishing within the top few spots each year. From the era of the "twin stars" with Yagao and Zoom, their results were stable. However, this season JDG invested heavily to assemble a luxury roster, signing the dual mid-AD combo of Scout and Peyz during the transfer window. Unfortunately, their performance was mediocre in the first two splits, and in the third split, they only managed sixth place in the regular season, needing to go through the "Knight's Road" to qualify for playoffs.

As the competition progresses, only one match remains between JDG and LGD. If nothing unexpected happens, JDG is likely to clinch the final playoff spot. However, according to the latest official player ranking data, JDG’s AD carry Peyz appears to be overrated. He ranks at the bottom among AD carries in nearly all categories. For instance, on the MVP leaderboard, he did not receive a single MVP award during the third split regular season, which is inconsistent with his market value. His participation rate in team fights is also the lowest among ADs at just 0.7. Surprisingly, BLG's Elk and WBG's Light share the same 0.7 rate, tying for last place.

His average kills per game are 3.62, again the lowest among ADs. His lane push rate is only 0.1, average team fight damage is 16,916.11, damage conversion rate is 1.64, and damage per minute is just 704.62. All these figures place him last among AD carries. However, one statistic stands out: his creep score per minute is 9.07, ranking first among ADs. This indicates he absorbs the most damage but neither joins team fights effectively nor deals meaningful damage, greatly inflating his reputation. Many fans are quite dissatisfied, feeling JDG’s transfer investments were a huge loss, inadvertently benefiting LNG, who neither performed well nor spent much.

When Peyz was with Gen.G, many fans criticized him as the team's biggest problem, which turned out to be true. After Gen.G replaced him with AD carry Ruler, the team’s performance stabilized and they faced fewer comeback defeats. People initially thought Peyz came to the LPL as a special forces trainee but he ended up as a punching bag, suffering heavy defeats and ranking last in all LPL stats. It’s unclear what JDG’s management thinks now—whether they regret overpaying for him at the last moment in the transfer window.

Farewell thoughts

Who would have expected JDG’s lavishly built roster during the transfer period to perform so poorly? The two Korean players have become the team’s weak points. Scout lost his former glory, and Peyz ranks at the bottom in all stats. To put it bluntly, JDG looks like a case of foolish money spent. Although their best-of-five series against LGD seems predictable, once they reach the playoffs, it’s unlikely they can beat any of the top four teams.
