This year, the playoff matchups are determined by the teams themselves based on their rankings in the Peak Group regular season. After the JDG vs. LGD Knight's Road match ended, TES, IG, BLG, and AL chose their playoff opponents in order.

TES, as the regular season leader, had the first pick and their captain chose NIP. In an interview, JKL stated: This was a decision made privately by the team. This is the first match of the playoffs, and we hope to deliver a strong BO5 against NIP.

NIP’s captain doinb responded: Maybe because we haven't beaten TES this year, they dared to pick us, but I want to say that this time, we will claim the victory.

IG finished second in the regular season, and their captain Rookie selected EDG from the remaining three teams. Rookie explained: After discussion with the coach, since we defeated EDG 3-0 last time, we expect the same outcome this time.
