LPL has entered killing mode, sweeping South Korea's team DK! Xiaohu's Ryze ascends to legend, and Xiaotian's Lee Sin goes berserk.

Hello to all LPL fans and League of Legends summoners, welcome to Tianxia Game Hub.

The ASI Asia Showdown is on its third day today, with LPL having faced back-to-back losses in earlier China-Korea matches and many off-field disputes. However, WBG managed to break out successfully and swept DK in a stunning victory.

In the second match against DK, WBG secured 32 kills and clinched this crucial win.

Xiaotian's invasion failed, but WBG's dragon exploded.

During the second game's draft phase, DK on blue side picked a strong crowd-control duo for top and mid lanes, offering solid AOE damage, paired with a jungle-support engage combo of Xin Zhao and Rakan. Their ADC was a high-impact Ezreal. WBG responded with a mid-jungle duo of Ryze and Lee Sin to contest jungle strength and synergy.

In other lanes, WBG chose Qiyana top, paired with Aphelios in the bot lane, and a support Braum. The key to the match was whether mid-jungle could gain an advantage, as mid-game teamfights against DK’s ultimate-heavy playstyle were tough, requiring more focused single-target breakthroughs.

At the start, WBG initiated with Rumble flashing forward, but Xiaotian’s jungle invasion went wrong, allowing Xin Zhao to reach level 4 first and secure first blood with the help of Naga.

Xiaohu’s Ryze quickly ganked bot but lost one player in exchange. Xin Zhao arrived to assist, and Light failed a kill attempt, resulting in DK trading one for two. After this, the teams entered chaotic skirmishes; BeryL died first in mid, but DK then killed Lee Sin again.

DK took three Rift Scuttlers, but their first dragon rush had issues. Although they secured the dragon, Huxi solo engaged, saved a teammate, and helped secure a kill, then launched a chase.

WBG fully on the hunt, Xiaohu’s performance was godlike.

During the chase, WBG killed another enemy, dove under tower to kill Naga, then DK tried to counterattack. However, Rakan’s engage was interrupted, allowing WBG to kill two more in a four-kill swing that reversed the score. Meanwhile, mid-jungle began to dominate; Xiaohu’s Ryze ambushed Ezreal in the brush, killing him with Lee Sin’s help.

Despite starting 0-2, Xiaotian’s Lee Sin began roaming, seizing an opportunity to solo kill Ezreal mid, gaining a significant advantage. Before the second dragon respawned, a jungle fight broke out with WBG gaining health advantage, but Light was controlled and killed in the jungle. Then Huxi’s Qiyana was spotted and quickly focused down in the brush.

After DK’s win, they tried to accelerate the pace. Bot lane tower dive killed Xiaotian’s Lee Sin, but Xiaohu’s Ryze and teammates arrived to kill three enemies in retaliation, avenging Xiaotian.

At 15 minutes, a jungle teamfight broke out where WBG successfully killed Lucid.

With a huge advantage, Xiaotian solo dueled Rumble bot lane, and mid lane erupted into a teamfight. Unfortunately, Xu made a huge misplay with his ultimate, while Aphelios dealt massive damage, melting the fight. Rumble tried to assist but was kicked back by Xiaotian diving under tower. WBG then wiped four enemies in a single push.

In the teamfight at Elder Dragon, WBG rushed first, stopping DK’s approach and killing Elder Dragon, also taking Rumble’s life.

Xiaohu’s Ryze ascends to legend, and Xiaotian’s Lee Sin goes wild.

Facing a huge disadvantage, DK’s top lane tried to focus Huxi but got pulled apart. WBG’s reinforcements arrived, and DK’s risky decision to open Braum’s ultimate backfired as WBG counterattacked, killing Rakan. Ryze’s ultimate trapped enemies and secured multiple kills. After this, the game was completely decided.

WBG kept pressuring, Xu’s Naga was outplayed badly, and WBG had already reached 30 kills. They pushed strongly and ended the match with a score of 32-8.

This marks LPL’s first win in the ASI Asia Showdown’s China-Korea confrontations, surprisingly by WBG. Previously, WBG was easily defeated by JDG, but JDG was later swept by GAM. Amid LPL’s worst slump, WBG stepped up to deliver this precious victory.

In my opinion, all WBG players showed their best form in this match: Xiaohu’s Ryze, Xiaotian’s championship-skin Lee Sin, Huxi roaming top, Aphelios with explosive damage, and Crisp who took MVP in the first game and performed well again in the second. I hope WBG continues to fight hard and achieve even better results in upcoming matches.
