During the 2025 LoL World Championship Swiss Round, Round 5 Group 2-2, TES overcame BLG with a 2-1 score to move forward into the top eight.
Game One

TES: Rumble, Jarvan IV, Orianna, Lucian, Braum
BLG: Ornn, Xin Zhao, Ziggs, Seraphine, Neeko
At the start, Kanavi’s Jarvan IV at level 3 ganked and killed Elk’s Seraphine. After respawning, Elk’s Seraphine immediately tried to hold the lane. Uzi’s Lucian rotated top and, together with Kanavi’s Jarvan IV, dove under tower to kill ON’s Neeko. Meanwhile, 369’s Rumble in the bot lane successfully resisted BLG’s top and jungle dive. TES leveraged Kanavi’s early level 3 gank to turn around the bot lane disadvantage. At 9 minutes, BLG’s top and jungle killed 369’s Rumble who had no Flash, while a skirmish broke out top lane. Uzi sacrificed himself to bait BLG’s duo, allowing TES’s top and jungle to rotate top and eliminate BLG’s bot lane duo again.
In the early phase, TES’s three lanes all surged ahead under Kanavi’s Jarvan IV’s momentum. At 12 minutes, BLG caught Uzi’s “lost” Lucian in the bot river, killing TES’s duo and securing the second dragon. At 15 minutes, ON’s Neeko flashed in with ultimate to initiate a fight, killing TES’s bot lane duo again. BLG then took Rift Herald and destroyed TES’s top tier one turret.
In mid-game, Uzi’s Lucian got caught out and quickly killed, triggering a chain reaction of deaths for TES. TES fell into a “death loop,” repeatedly giving BLG openings. BLG reversed their early disadvantage and started to snowball. BLG kept pushing towers and rotating to catch TES off guard. TES’s attempts to defend towers backfired as BLG capitalized on mistakes. At 18 minutes, BLG secured the third dragon. With Ziggs providing strong siege, BLG pushed aggressively. At 21 minutes, ON’s Neeko flanked and ulted four members, leading to a flawless team wipe of TES.

At 23 minutes, BLG used Ziggs to zone TES away from the dragon pit and secured the Water Dragon Soul. BLG then pressured top jungle; ON’s Neeko flashed in to start a fight, killing both Uzi and Kanavi. BLG took Baron, gained double buffs, and pushed down all three lanes. In the base, BLG wiped TES again and claimed the first game.
Game Two

BLG: Renekton, Vi, Alora, Sivir, Alistar
TES: Qiyana, Trundle, Cassiopeia, Varus, Poppy
TES drafted a strong bot lane duo and controlled the dragon with Uzi and Hang’s dominant laning. They also secured three Rift Scuttlers in the top jungle. At 9 minutes, BLG’s jungle and support ganked Uzi’s Varus top, securing first blood. Shortly after, 369’s Qiyana solo killed Bin’s Renekton in top lane. Meanwhile, a mid-lane skirmish saw BLG kill TES’s mid and jungle players.

TES protected their Cassiopeia, who farmed safely, and took control of three dragons in the bot jungle, while BLG secured Rift Herald in the top jungle. At 20 minutes, a top lane clash resulted in BLG pushing down TES’s mid tier one tower. Elk’s Sivir was caught out and killed, allowing TES to quickly rush Baron. In the crucial dragon fight, ON was the first to fall, and TES secured the Earth Dragon Soul as BLG’s team fight collapsed. At 25 minutes, a river fight top lane saw TES kill BLG’s bot lane duo, take Baron, and with double dragon buffs, TES comfortably defeated BLG to even the series.
Game Three (BLG swapped to jungler Beichuan)

TES: Mordekaiser, Qiyana, Charmander, Aphelios, Leona
BLG: Jax, Wukong, Galio, Xayah, Rakan
At 7 minutes, TES’s four players attempted a dive top, but Knight’s quick support gave BLG a counterattack chance, resulting in a 1-for-2 exchange. In the Rift Scuttler fight, BLG secured one and killed Hang again. BLG had a slight early advantage, controlling one Rift Scuttler and the first dragon. TES tried to initiate ganks but failed to make an impact. However, Charmander’s fast farming on Qiyana was impressive, stacking her Q ability quickly.
At 13 minutes, TES grouped top to dive and kill Bin and ON under tower. Bin’s Jax was weakening and struggling against 369’s Mordekaiser in side lanes. At 15 minutes, BLG grouped to kill Kanavi and Hang, then took Rift Herald. Bin’s Jax solo killed Charmander’s Qiyana in bot lane. BLG ramped up mid-game pressure, taking Rift Herald and pushing down TES’s mid tier one tower. Bin’s solo kills slowed Charmander’s growth. At 17 minutes, TES attempted a tower dive but made errors due to the turret’s high health, resulting in an even 2-for-2 trade. Bin kept pushing lanes to farm, and BLG tried to take dragons but faltered as Kanavi stole one, disrupting BLG’s dragon momentum. TES quickly rushed Baron; BLG arrived too late, leading to a 3-for-3 chaotic fight.

TES secured a dragon at 24 minutes while BLG’s players respawned. Bin’s Jax flanked and teamed up to kill Charmander’s Qiyana, but Kanavi died shortly after. BLG lost the dragon but won the ensuing team fight. At 28 minutes, Bin’s Jax initiated a fight; Uzi’s Aphelios dealt continuous damage, wiping BLG’s team. TES secured Baron and grouped to push high ground. BLG tried to counter but only managed to kill four TES members. TES’s Baron push destroyed one lane of BLG’s high ground. In a critical 35-minute dragon fight, TES won the team fight, gained the Dragon Soul, and closed out the match in a single push, advancing to the quarterfinals.
