Hello to all LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners, this is Tianxia Game Hub.
Recently, all major regions have been gearing up for the new season. After taking part in the China tour event, Faker returned to attend the LCK preseason press conference and chose his teammates.

During this time, Faker livestreamed and reported an LPL player.
Faker reported an LPL player for intentional feeding and AFK behavior.
Years ago, Faker criticized LPL player Qingtian in ranked games due to his poor Aatrox performance, finishing with a 0-16 score. Faker’s comments about Qingtian sparked huge controversy at the time, including mentioning why Chinese players could get premium Korean accounts.

That year, RNG won the MSI championship. After T1’s loss, Faker faced a significant public relations crisis in his career. However, looking back, many of the attacks against Faker were actually misleading narratives.
Today, a similar situation happened again: Faker reported an LPL player in ranked games and was visibly upset.
The LPL player in question is Feather, a support from TT team, who is relatively unknown. Feather was on the same team as Faker in ranked but showed signs of intentional feeding and AFK acting.

Faker reported this player twice during the game. Feather’s Rakan went top lane to AFK and then left the game, openly performing this act, and did so after matching with Faker, which greatly angered Faker.
Faker spoke out, urging the officials to ban players like this.
During his livestream, Faker expressed that some players should be suspended every two games as the only way to deal with AFK players. They deserve the punishment, and continuing to play such games shows disrespect to the game itself.
Later, Faker also complained that after streaming for two days, he kept encountering such players on his team every couple of games.

After finishing that match, Faker faced Feather again in the next game, but this time Feather was on the opposing team. Faker expressed disappointment, saying he couldn’t believe this guy hadn’t been banned yet.
Often, players experience emotional breakdowns during games, and some choose to AFK or play passively to vent. However, such behavior is unacceptable for professional players, which is why Faker was so upset.

It is truly baffling that a pro player would intentionally feed and act in high-level ranked matches.
Over many years of League of Legends history, there have been several cases of pro players AFKing or not playing seriously, which almost always drew criticism from fans.
Poor ranked environments negatively affect player training.
Korean servers represent the highest skill tier in League of Legends. The LPL tried to launch a server focused on pro players and high-rank gamers as an alternative to Korean servers, but it failed. Currently, LPL players mainly train on Korean servers. Comparatively, the Chinese server environment is undeniably worse.

This is why after the Faker-Qingtian controversy, the authorities intervened to sanction LPL players, and many Korean fans also urged LPL players to return to their own servers.
In my opinion, LPL players training on Korean servers should be more mindful of their in-game conduct. Also, the notorious group of AFK actors once frequently appeared on Korean servers, leading to mass bans of LPL player accounts there.
Uzi, a hugely popular LPL player, once AFK’d on his livestream, which became a black mark in his career. In his final years, Uzi was heavily troubled by AFK actors who targeted him in ranked matches, severely disrupting his daily training. Faker also finds this behavior intolerable.

Therefore, I hope all LPL players, regardless of fame, pay attention to their gameplay conduct and focus more on training. If their mindset is off, they should take a break and return once they are ready.
