Many streamers have shifted to other game genres, and those still streaming LOL are almost unable to sustain themselves financially. DOINB’s comments drew widespread skepticism from viewers. According to DOINB, SMLZ earned only 300 yuan from streaming last month.

DOINB stated that the streaming industry is no longer about streamer popularity. Although SMLZ is very famous in LPL, his streams don’t attract much engagement, resulting in few gifts during his broadcasts. In the end, DOINB suggested on stream that SMLZ consider switching to being a gaming companion, since SMLZ’s popularity and reputation are high. If SMLZ became a gaming companion, playing with clients for an hour could earn him as much as he makes in a month of streaming.
