Faker's report succeeded, leading to punishment for an LPL player! Later, he took action again during a live stream to regulate Korean players.

Hello to all LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners, this is Tianxia Game Report.

Earlier, I shared about Faker reporting an LPL player during ranked matches, and today there is an update. At the same time, Faker acted again in ranked games, this time addressing Korean players.

Due to these two events, fans are calling Faker the “Justice Colossus” who is reforming the Korean ranked scene.

Faker’s report was successful, resulting in penalties for an LPL player.

In a previous ranked game, Faker encountered Feather, the support player from LPL’s TT team, who was found to be AFK and playing negatively. In that match, Feather played Rumble, went top lane to AFK, then left the game. Faker was understandably upset by this behavior.

Editor’s note

During the game, Faker reported this player twice and publicly stated that such players should be suspended once every two matches, as this would be the most effective punishment for AFK players.

Last night, TT team officially announced that Feather had been punished.

TT said that after learning of the incident, they quickly investigated. After verifying with the player and reviewing data, they confirmed negative gameplay behavior that affected other players’ experience and violated professional standards and league rules.

TT will issue an internal warning to Feather according to club regulations, impose a fine, deduct monthly performance bonuses, and sincerely apologize to affected players and followers. They also plan to strengthen management to help players correct their mistakes.

Faker takes action again, this time targeting Korean players.

Feather’s case shouldn’t be very controversial. Simply put, as a pro player, deliberately playing negatively and going AFK on Korean servers is punishable. The key point is that Feather did this while matched with Faker, which is quite outrageous.

Faker would never tolerate such gameplay, and the interesting part is that after Feather’s punishment, viewers noticed during Faker’s latest live ranked match that he reported another Korean player.

This time, the report was because the Korean player used an insulting name—“jjangkkae,” a derogatory term used by Koreans to refer to Chinese people, which has been classified as offensive by human rights organizations.

Previously, Faker targeted an LPL player; this time it’s a Korean player. For those who doubted Faker might be deliberately targeting LPL players due to the earlier QingTian incident, this report against a Korean player shows that Faker reports based on actions, not individuals.

Regulating player behavior and taking training seriously.

Many fans misunderstand Faker’s reports, thinking it’s normal to encounter poor players in ranked, and they compare some players’ bad records. But they overlook two points: first, pro players are not the same as regular players; second, there is a fundamental difference between playing poorly and intentionally going AFK.

Editor’s note

Many pro players sometimes have very poor scores on Korean servers, even dying over 15 times in a match. This alone doesn’t prove negative gameplay; the context of the match must be considered to understand why the player performed that way.

For example, a top laner might be killed once in lane, then targeted by the jungler, and after joining team fights, might die repeatedly. This doesn’t necessarily mean negative gameplay.

However, deliberately feeding is a different matter. Pro players can distinguish between the two well. Faker’s previous report was because the support player clearly showed negative gameplay by not staying in the bot lane but going top to AFK, which is easy to identify as negative gameplay and deserves punishment.

Editor’s note

Many LPL players lack this awareness and sometimes lose their composure, resulting in poor play or even going AFK. The LPL should enforce standards so players take ranked training seriously, giving them a chance to improve their form and skills through ranked matches.
