The Faker no-laugh meme 2.0 has gone viral! The LCK preseason champion is crowned, and the jungle team was crushed like bots.

The once-a-year LCK preseason show has concluded, with Faker leading the mid lane team to three consecutive wins and claiming the preseason title. Although it was just an exhibition, the intensity was quite high. The mid lane squad showcased their mechanics and meta understanding, completely dominating teams from other roles. After watching, one can only say: the mid lane’s high value is justified. Imagine if there were five Fakers, the power would be unimaginable.

Let’s briefly recap the four preseason matches. The first was mid lane versus jungle. Faker gave up mid and played Rumble top to face Kanavi. DaChao and XuGe teamed up bot. Early in the game, the jungle team’s mid laner died first due to warding mistakes. Cuzz, taking advantage of bot lane priority, invaded the enemy jungle, but the duo was killed in return. At 3 minutes, the jungle team was down 0-4, and the game was essentially decided.

Scout’s momentum soared, collapsing the mid and bot lanes. The game ended at 22 minutes with the jungle team having no positive stats. Oner’s Rell was the worst, ending 0-9. In the second match, the support team faced the AD team. Within 2 minutes, XiaoK solo killed Teddy mid, gaining an advantage. Coordinating with the jungle, they aggressively roamed and helped bot build a lead. However, the AD team’s resilience allowed them to fight back through teamfights in the mid game.

In the late game, the AD’s damage output clearly outmatched the support team, leading to the AD team’s victory. The third match was mid lane versus top lane. Faker called for early ganks, gaining an advantage, but Kingen solo killed him twice. The teams were nearly even in kills mid-game, but the mid lane team used tower pushes to secure resources and gained a 6K gold lead. The match was never in doubt, as the mid lane team won at 29 minutes to advance to the finals.

The final match was mid lane versus AD. Chovy was heavily targeted; Smash locked down bot lane and killed the duo within 3 minutes. However, later ganks were countered, and DaChao’s Kai’Sa secured two kills to recover the early deficit. By mid-game, the mid lane team was still behind, with a kill score of 13 to 6 at 16 minutes and AD team leading by 3.6K gold. But Chovy’s incredible play in teamfights led the team to a stunning comeback.

The final was the only match to exceed 30 minutes. Chovy’s Kai’Sa posted an impressive 15-8-5. From the LCK preseason, it’s clear that next year’s games will be much faster paced than this year. If the AD team hadn’t made so many mistakes, they might have won earlier. A faster pace is actually good; the worst is when no fights happen and the game drags into late stages for a single decisive clash.

Before the matches started, a funny moment occurred when the host invited five captains on stage. When Faker answered questions, Old Lee glanced twice at Ruler’s hair, trying not to laugh. Ruler couldn’t hold it and asked, “Why do you keep looking at my hair?” When questioned, Old Lee looked back again. Faker then asked, “Does it look like it’s grown?” (referring to Ruler’s hair).

Old Lee’s reply was hilarious: “Seems like it has grown a bit, probably watered a lot.” Upon hearing this pun, Ruler burst out laughing and jokingly threatened to sue. Faker immediately apologized: “Sorry, I apologize.” Previously, Faker mocked Old Lee’s baldness in a poem, and this time, in front of the audience, he looked back at Ruler three times while trying not to laugh. Faker was probably waiting for Ruler’s question to deliver his joke.

In conclusion:

With Old Lee’s leadership and DaChao’s skill, the mid lane team was nearly unbeatable. It’s a pity Chovy plays mid; if he switched roles and joined T1, Old Lee might really help him fulfill his dream of winning a world championship. Regarding AD carry, Chovy’s last-hitting across three games outperformed his opponents, showing truly impressive farming ability.

So, what do you think? Was Old Lee’s joke funny?
