Greetings to all LPL fans and League of Legends summoners, welcome to Tianxia Game Hub.
Yesterday, LPL kicked off with two opening matches: IG went first but was defeated 1-2 by WBG, marking a disappointing beginning; then TES appeared but was quickly dispatched by JDG in a rapid loss.

Regarding entertainment, the TES versus JDG match was superior, filled with plenty of comedic moments.
A pentakill appeared on LPL's first day, and TES was effectively sentenced to defeat.
In the match between JDG and TES, most expected JDG to win easily because TES’s new season roster offers little hope. Only two players from last year remain—Crème and 369—while the other three positions were replaced, resulting in a clear downgrade.

Editor’s note
Especially TES’s bot lane duo, Jiaqi and Fengyue, who give off a sense of rebirth but not in a positive way.
However, since the match hadn’t started yet, some TES fans still hoped for a surprise. After the first game ended, those hopes were crushed. Essentially, TES’s roster this season can be considered doomed with no chance for good results.
In the first game against JDG, TES collapsed across all five positions, suffering an outrageous 22-2 kill score. GALA, who is not known for laning kills, secured lane kills and even achieved a pentakill late in the game to finish it off.

Junjia’s Malphite was the standout performer, initiating fights brilliantly and helping his team gain or extend leads. TES, however, made a comical mistake in the jungle area, with support Fengyue accidentally knocking away Naiyou’s Volibear with a basic attack after Volibear engaged.
RNG’s bot lane is hopeless, with a shocking flash-turn play from their support.
The second game featured even more ridiculous plays. Crème picked mid Sylas and made several impressive solo kills but couldn’t carry the team alone. Late in the game, Crème was even seen laughing on the small camera.
The bot lane duo once again collapsed under heavy pressure from GALA and Vampire, falling into a massive disadvantage.

The subsequent team fights were one-sided. The funniest moment was at 19:40 when TES started Baron but the Elder Dragon spawned mid-fight. TES wasted time and got caught by enemy reinforcements.
During the retreat, support Fengyue pulled off an unbelievable flash-turn maneuver: flashing away to create distance, then instantly turning back with E into the enemy group. The audience was stunned. GALA’s Caitlyn ultimate nearly wiped the enemy team, securing an easy team fight win.

In the end, TES suffered a 0-2 crushing defeat. After the match, fans began calling for JKL. Notably, Jiaqi, who replaced JKL in the bot lane, formerly played for RNG. After RNG left the league, TES somehow picked this ADC, but his performance mirrored RNG’s fate—completely hopeless.
JKL reveals severe tinnitus, TES locked in last place.
In my opinion, with TES’s current performance, they are basically locked in at the bottom of the upper tier group. What’s more surprising is that even if JKL returns, this roster likely won’t achieve much. From this perspective, 369’s decision to continue playing might have been a mistake.

JKL recently disclosed he is undergoing treatment for serious tinnitus and needs time to recover. It seems unlikely he will return in the short term.
TES’s biggest worry now is remaining weak throughout the season. If they finish near the bottom of the upper tier, they risk being defeated by teams from the resilient or rebirth groups in the upcoming Knight’s Road matches. According to the full season format, a poor first stage ranking could drop the team into the rebirth group for the second stage, which would likely ruin TES’s entire season.

To avoid this, JKL really needs to make a comeback in critical upcoming matches. Even if the results aren’t great, at least it would prevent the team from risking relegation. Another option is to change the roster and try bringing in other players to see if there’s any improvement.
