LPL's All-Chinese Team Makes Reverse Reinforcement! Jiejie Sets a New Low in Output, Only 3400 Damage in a 33-Minute Match?

The second week of the intra-group matches in the second stage of LPL is already halfway through. On the previous match day, IG and BLG faced off, battling through three games, with BLG ultimately winning by reversing a deficit after losing the first game. This result was somewhat expected, given that BLG is the strongest team in the league. However, what's puzzling is how TES, who managed to shut out BLG, ended up losing to IG twice, both in the intra-group matches and the selection matches.

IG's performance was actually decent, considering they managed to go toe-to-toe with BLG. The young mid-laner facing Knight couldn't avoid being dominated, but Breathe's invisibility across all three games was truly baffling. In the decisive game, the coach gave him the counter pick, yet Breathe chose an old-school champion and was relentlessly pressured by Bin's Gnar during the lane phase. The only moment he showed any toughness in this BO3 was during the post-match handshake, where he chose not to bend and stood firm against Bin.

Another match on the same day was a battle between all-Chinese teams, JDG and WBG, these two struggling brothers also fought through three full games before a winner emerged. The matches between these two teams were truly both messy and drawn-out, with almost every game featuring someone making a notable scene. Hang's mistakes were the most frequent. In the first game, his Milio, at 20 minutes when Zhao was aggressively clearing waves and got surrounded, Hang prematurely used his ultimate, sending the AD into the enemy's mouth.

In the second game, his "signature" Nami was, as usual, missing bubbles and ultimates. However, compared to the Bard in the decisive third game, the first two games were actually played relatively well. In the third game, first in the dragon pit, he precisely stunned Xiaohu who was charging up, and later in the decisive team fight, Hang, despite the two teams being almost face-to-face, found a position where he couldn't stun anyone and accurately missed his ultimate (ELK used Golden Hour to avoid the Nautilus ultimate).

In such a narrow space, with nine people present, he managed to stun none of them—Hang is truly something special. Previously, when they swapped for Erha, it was due to vision issues. Now with Hang, not only has vision not improved, but even his mechanics are bizarre. When it comes to reverse reinforcement, you really have to look at Weibo. After watching Weibo's recent matches, I personally have grown increasingly impressed with "哥哥"; he actually managed to secure a top-tier performance with Hang.

Aside from Hang, the other brothers aren't clean either. Zika goes passive after getting help, and if not helped, he simply disappears. Xiaohu is truly aging; even heroes like Galio he can't play properly now, often getting caught out before team fights. However, the most abstract among the top, mid, and jungle has to be the jungler. Jiejie knows his teammates need jungle assistance to gain advantages, but he chooses to bury himself in farming, not helping lanes early, relying entirely on team fights to find opportunities.

It's hard to imagine a hero like Yahan could only output 3.4K damage in a 33-minute match. Even the team's support Bard managed 6.9K damage, and JDG's Nautilus on the opposing side had 300 more damage than Jiejie. An offensive jungler ending with the lowest damage in the entire game—it's impossible to defend him, even if you try. Of course, ELK in the bot lane isn't clean either; his teammates fed him three kills in the decisive game, yet he provided zero feedback in team fights.

After this loss, WBG's record stands at 1-4. Within the Summit Group, Weibo is only better than WE who are 0-5. In the previous stage, WBG was third in the league; after changing a player, they've plummeted to second-to-last in the Summit Group. This落差 is truly huge. Rumors suggest an LPL team is contacting Crisp, unsure if it's Weibo. Personally, I feel they could really bring Crisp back; even at his worst, he's better than Hang.

Conclusion:

Although JDG won, honestly, their performance was also ugly. When they had advantages, JDG kept turtling, seeming afraid to lose and unwilling to engage in close combat. For Weibo, they really need to adjust. Regardless of whether Hang is bad or not, the jungler must become active. Expecting Xiaohu to lead the tempo every game while giving up all resources—how can they win matches like that?

So, who do you think is the biggest problem for Weibo?
