VCTCN: Setrod lands a triple with the Operator, FPX takes down TE 2-0 for their first victory

The 2026 VCTCN Stage 2 Regular Season saw FPX beat TE 2-0.

Map 1: Sunset City

Defense side FPX: Chamber/Neon/Omen/Sova/Killjoy

Attack side TE: Sage/Neon/Omen/Sova/Viper

In the first half, TE took the initial two rounds. In the third round, TE grouped up and attacked A-site, but Xlele swiftly eliminated three opponents, handing FPX their first point.

In the fifth round, Xlele secured a triple kill at the front, while DeLb got a double kill in return. With a 3v2 situation remaining, Setrod clutched the round, allowing FPX to close the gap. In the sixth round, Xlele completed a triple kill to finish the round, and FPX tied it up, forcing a timeout from TE.

In the eighth round, multiple FPX players performed well at B-site to stop TE, earning another point and extending the lead to four. In the ninth round, TE attacked B-site but couldn't withstand FPX's retake, giving FPX another point.

In the eleventh round, TE once again attacked B-site, but FPX's utility coordination and aim during retake were superior, widening the deficit to seven points. In the final round of the first half, multiple TE players stepped up to recover one point, making it FPX 9-3 TE.

The pistol round of the second half was claimed by FPX. In the fourteenth round, TE caught multiple FPX players, but they ran out of time to defuse the spike, giving FPX another point. The lead extended to seven points.

In the fifteenth round, LuoK1ng helped TE gain a numbers advantage, but Xlele swung the momentum with a triple kill, evening out the numbers. kovaQ then won the 1v1 clutch, pushing FPX to match point first.

In the final round of the second half, Setrod eliminated the last TE player to close out the map, giving FPX the win on the first map.

Map 2: Skyweave Nexus

Defense side FPX: Iso/Raze/Astra/Tejo/Killjoy

Attack side TE: Breach/Jett/Omen/Phoenix/Viper

TE took the first two rounds of the half. In the third round, FPX shut down TE with a flawless five-kill round, securing their first point.

In the fourth round, Xlele1's crucial double kill prevented TE from planting the spike, and FPX closed the gap further. In the fifth round, Xlele and AAAAY coordinated a quick retake to eliminate TE, earning FPX another point.

In the seventh round, Xlele first took down two opponents, then coconut at B-site won a 1v2 clutch but ran out of time to defuse, giving the round to TE. In the eighth round, after a chaotic fight, Setrod won a 1v1 clutch to tie the score, prompting TE to call their second timeout.

In the ninth round, Setrod used the Operator to score a one-vs-three, helping FPX reclaim the lead. In the tenth round, TE caught FPX players across different positions and tied the score again.

In the final round of the first half, TE attacked A-site with perfect utility coordination, blocking FPX's retake. Kai finished with a triple kill, making it TE 7-5 FPX at halftime.

FPX won the first two rounds of the second half, leveling the score.

In the fifteenth round, FPX attacked A-site. After a chaotic exchange, DeLb won a 1v2 clutch to help TE recover a point. In the eighteenth round, Setrod secured a triple kill to give FPX a point, starting to pull ahead. In the nineteenth round, TE had an economic disadvantage, and FPX used their rifle advantage to take another point.

In the twentieth round, FPX's aim and coordination proved superior as they reached match point first. In the twenty-first round, DeLb's critical elimination disrupted FPX's rhythm, and his teammates followed up with clean trades, allowing TE to save one point.

In the final round of the second half, multiple FPX players stepped up to close out the game, giving FPX the victory on the second map.
