Two major leaks in the LPL: Flandre and AL have a falling out, BLG wants to sign him but can't agree on the price

Hello everyone, LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners, this is the World Game Hub.

Yesterday, the third stage of the LPL started, but attention is still on BLG, as rumors keep coming out and everyone wants to know if BLG will add Flandre to their roster.

Not long ago, two major leaks surfaced: BLG attempted to sign Flandre, but the price was not agreed upon.

Insider reveals: Flandre and AL's relationship has broken down

The first key leak concerns Flandre. AL officially announced Breathe joining the team, so it's natural for everyone to think Flandre will leave and that joining BLG would be the best option. However, this deal is still under negotiation, and some sources have shed light on the situation between AL and Flandre.

A Douban insider revealed that Flandre is quite unhappy with AL because AL had been secretly contacting top laners as early as MSI, and was caught during EWC. The reason AL signed Breathe is that when Flandre heard AL was trialing a top laner, he simply refused to return to the base.

If that's the case, then Flandre and AL have effectively severed ties.

In other words, AL originally only wanted to try out Breathe, but when Flandre found out, AL had no choice but to sign Breathe. The insider also revealed that Aixiao had verbally promised Flandre there would be no substitute this year, yet now they are bringing in a new top laner.

It's worth noting that at the end of last year, Aixiao already wanted to change the top laner. When netizens thought AL should change the bot lane instead, Aixiao stepped forward to defend the bot lane, saying he wouldn't change it, but that the top lane could be swapped.

BLG wants to sign Flandre, but the price is not agreed

Then there's the BLG-related leak. Hongcha revealed that the possibility of Flandre joining BLG is decreasing because the two sides have not yet reached an agreement on price. Meanwhile, BLG's management had a deep conversation with NIP's manager overnight, going through all the basic requirements with each other.

This leak also reveals two key points.

First, the issue of the price not being settled. People might initially think that Flandre couldn't reach an agreement with BLG, but in reality, Flandre's contract is still with AL. BLG's negotiations were actually with AL, so the price issue has little to do with Flandre himself and depends on AL's asking price.

If AL's asking price is too high and BLG cannot accept it, BLG will definitely seek a Plan B to pressure AL. That Plan B is Hoya. According to the leak, BLG and NIP's manager talked all night and went over many details, so it seems BLG is now closer to signing Hoya.

If BLG signs Hoya, AL would suffer the biggest loss. If the first leak is true, Flandre and AL have a complete breakdown, and AL wants to start Breathe, then Flandre's contract would become a dead weight, a pure loss of money. Therefore, AL might lower their asking price to facilitate Flandre's transfer to BLG.

Analysis of top laner level: BLG's potential weak point

Currently, more viewers hope BLG will sign Flandre, believing he is still stronger than Hoya. Personally, I think Flandre's teamplay attributes are top-notch, and based on his past performance and resume, he is indeed superior to Hoya. However, no matter which top laner BLG signs, they may face a common issue in the future: a potential weakness in laning phase.

We would say that Bin is a top laner with strong laning skills but poor teamplay and mentality. When he underperforms, his negative impact on the team is enormous and unbearable. If BLG's management determines that they cannot bring Bin back to normal form, they must make a decision and find a top laner to replace him.

Replacing Bin would change BLG's tactical style. They would lose a playstyle centered on the top laner as the absolute core and would need stronger teamplay to win top-tier matchups.

We all know that among the world's top top laners this year, only Zeus has maxed-out laning attributes. After BLG changes their top laner, facing HLE might be a bit harder, but if the mid-jungle duo stays hot and the top laner can hold his own, BLG still has a good chance to win. Against other teams, BLG's lineup won't fall behind, and that's the winning strategy for BLG after the top lane change.
